  plus, when I click on my friends clan (I can only find ps3 clans, not players) in the search, it just takes me back to the home page.

  Ditto that. It is kind of an inconvenience. I just do not get it!

  I was had only linked an xbox gamertag, but linking my PSN ID did not help either.

    The search feature is not working properly on Elite. This is a known issue with no fix yet.
