Revolution Playlists -- 3 Core, Zero Hardcore... typical.

Once again... TA ignores 20% of the playerbase. It was expected, to be honest.

 

3 core playlist for Revolution.

Zero for HC.

 

Can't even make one silly playlist for peeps who want to play HC?

 

Y U NO LIKE HARDCORE, TREYARCH?

    To make it worse I'm pretty sure Vahn promised a HC Moshpit.

    Apparently, the new maps are already in the HC map selections, so they come up as and when. There just isn't a specific new DLC lobby in HC as I understand it.

     

    They're there, as plenty of people have already pointed out in the numerous threads marked "DLC" abd "Hardcore".

    I'm with you. Feels like HC is not welcomed by TA. The lack of hardcore since launch has meant that the 5 people I used to play HC domination or HC hq don't play anymore.

     

    I can't see myself playing COD anymore unless something gives.

    i think there should be alot more hardcore modes tbh, theres no h/c ffa, so i now dont play ffa, which i played quite alot on mw3 and bops1. i hate core games, and refuse to play them, played the new nuketown once and came out mid game, and ive played each of the new maps once and came out the lobby once i did all 4. so unfair

    We were told by a pretty reliable source that hc would get a dlc mosh so I went ahead and bought the season pass in good faith and now I'm not playing. Hmmm, hasn't this happened to us before? I can't believe I wasted $50! Good maps but no mosh is a waste, I've max prestiged so the only incentive to keep playing was the new maps.......next time don't lie plz.

      I won't go as far as promised but it was certainly seemed like it would be there.

       

      Got to play 1 new map and it took 15 minutes to get to one...

       

      ... at least this time I expected there to be no HC playlists.

        Vahn told me (as it stood when he tweeted me) we would be getting dlc maps in hc, that is what i relayed to the forum. That is what we got.

         

        Yes a moshpit would've been nice and especially as it would've been a perfect oppotunity to test out some new modes...and yes i was fully expecting one but we got exactly what vahn said we would, which is still more than most dlc drops when it comes to hc

          HC KC is one the most played modes on BO2 (HC or Core). If they had listened to us HC players a year ago, how much happier would we al be?

            Nope totally agree with you  i know it doesnt look like it buy 3arcs doing alot better with us than previously..

             

            games been out a few months we already hada playlist change (although im still not sure what happened to the moshpit there) and we've had a dlc that you can actually play on hc.

             

            Vahns posted what once on the forums in the last 6 months odd and that was to do with hardcore, its def an improvement than before.

             

            You know what vahn and treyarch are like though they go by numbers and whats best for the game we got hckc and the hc numbers have increased , weve managed to get alot more than in previous games so quickly yes more would be great.. to be honest i honestly dont think some game modes suit hc but then some do that we dont have ..yet

             

            if all else fails we'll just sic ios on vahn again with his arsenal of memes

              I mostly agree with you Mac, but if they went strictly by the numbers then League play would already be history. Unlike putting little effort into the HC community which is really decent size for the limited playlist they have, they seem to be putting a major effort into the League play trying to influence or appease players into using that playlist. The numbers just don't support the effort percentage IMO.

              Of course that is merely my opinion and don't really think it should be taken as anything but that. Just trying to contribute a little to the numbers .vs. support/effort part of this thread.

                This morning had ~25% of all players playing HC. 190k in total... 40k playing HC.

                 

                The "small community" crap just doesn't ring true at all.

                  I'd really like to see an honest response as to why HC gets so little attention. This "numbers" argument just doesn't hold water.

                  I play both, always have but even so, I would like to see more game modes in HC and honestly feel cheated not having them. Hearing the excuse of the numbers don't support it over and over just makes things seem worse. Like they are saying I can't see the numbers on the lobby or something. I mean they are there for all to see. HC clearly has more players than League play yet so much of that last update seemed to be League play related. Where is the number logic oin that ?

                    Actually... League Play was a major intiative for TA with this title. There is zero chance it's going anywhere and why they've invested so much energy into it.

                     

                    But 20 playlists to 4 for HC...? SMH.

      kinda ironic you said candyland..

      if the next game is from IW Candyslexia the community coordinator there is a big hc fan and really pleaded our case with the game design team in mw3.

    From here on out I am only buying future CoD games used!! I don't ever plan on prestiging ever again anyway so why give them my money? Great game, great new maps, terrible terrible management of the HC community! If I were in charge I would realize that the future of gaming is creating more hardcore games, not these "momma hold my hand so I can complete this level" type of crap!!!!!!! So pissed that maccabi said there was gonna be a MOSH, no offense bro but this &*&* aint right. Year after year CoD spits in the HC communities face and we take it cause there is no other option that compares. When Walmart showed up K-Mart went down the toilet, can't wait for Walmart to show up here!

    Screw this game its epic disappointment one after another. Who wants to use a full clip to kill someone. It just shows they have no care for fanbase of hardcore gamers so im done with this game. they need to get there stuff together.

          I liked MoH Warfighter more than BF3, TBH. I hated BF3... but MoH was just okay.

    Its not surprising really, I was hoping there would be a HC mosh in the DLC playlist so we could play some new game modes, and Treyarch would see how popular they were, but whatever. Since HCKC has been added (to an enormous success) HC has been ignored completely.

    I don't get why battlefield can give you core and hardcore with every setting and map but COD cant give you the same game modes on hardcore that is on core. why is it so hard. now wonder battlefield 3 is so much better

    After checking the playlists out, TDM, DOM, moshpit. Wow. 2 gamemodes that encourage camping and a moshpit. Great job Treyarch. Core still plays terrible I see.

    All they are doing by not having a hardcore playlist is making people leave the game early that they enter.  Myself included.
