Maybe it's your aim

The bottom line is even if you start shooting me first, but your shot's are to my legs. If i turn and shot you in the chest and head i should win that battle.

Please people work on your aim.  I have no problem dropping people in 4 to 5 shots. If losing battles to smg from a far chances are because you stand still instead of moving. If your standing still i can hit you with a hand gun. Aim for the chest and head i bet you'll win more gun fight's.

    People may have gotten so used to the second chance from previous titles thats its almost automatic to aim low.

    They also got used to people that also doing the dropshot too.

    1) If you're getting shot in the legs, good luck turning around.

     

    2) The day I stop getting 6-8 hitmarkers before I insta-die is the day I consider it an issue with my aim.

    OP is a lagger boasting about his skills, there's at least one in every lobby, and apparently they can now be found on the forums too.

    Still doesn't explain how I will miss shots completely when I put the reticule directly over their body but when I just panic aim and it's still slightly in front or behind them I get the kill.

     

    This is one of the main reasons I've given up on using sniper rifles. I'm punished for aiming, meanwhile quickscope **** have no issue.

     

    My ability to, and want to aim is the reason I have crap games. When I just spray and hip fire, I get a lot more kills.

    The fact that anything is possible is not really a compelling argument. Sure, it could be their aim, it could be a result of an alien takeover, but the most logical answer probably involves the advantage given to you by lag comp.

    You should probably learn that there's latency from pulling up your gun and ADS'ing. There's a small period where your bullets aren't going to be accurate. Meanwhile hipfiring reduces that need. (Please don't start blaming hipfiring, either. In a lot of more competitive games there's no need to ADS at all, it's all reflexes.)

     

    Quickscoping actually is hurt by this as well. If you don't come to a complete stop and wait until after your ADS latency is gone, you're not going to be accurate. You'll sometimes get lucky, but that's to be said for every weapon in every situation.
