Who's using an SMG silencer?

We over at PS3 haven't got the patch yet, and I'm really not looking forward to it since my favorite weapon is the silenced Vector. So what can I expect? Does it still work?

    you come to the forums asking if this works... The COD forums at that.... The same forums full of people ready to complain about anything.... i dont think this is a wise feedback option

     

    but for what its worth, I played a little bit today and got owned. unlike most tho, Ima blame meself for the deaths as I always do.

    It sort of depends on what range your at. a little bit past medium range takes maybe 1 more bullet anwhere past that feels like they are eating bullets. Honestly the SMGs act lie they really should

      I agree, real SMGs use pistol cartridges at full auto. They should perform similar to a pistol of the same cartridge, but at full auto with a longer barrel.

    I truly have not noticed at all, my MSMC with a silencer is still beast, in fact I think they have made it better as the 1st game I had I went 17-0 till I got team killed and then spawn killed but I still ended on 42-9 on HC:KC and in fact nearly every game yesterday I was able to out beast anyone, even those tits with the sniper that sprays

        I have silencer, laser and reflex on it and I told someone else to try it and they started doing better as they were only using a reflex sight on it.

      Yea but this is HC lol so it doesn't really affect it as much as core. In core it's pretty hard to hit those longer shots now because they eat bullets.

        Oh god core is terrible I used the Type 25 on there the other day with FMJ, I put 22 bullets in someone from about 2-4foot away only to have them turn around and kill me with 2 bullets from a hand gun.

         

        Thats why I play HC as it feels like core from MW3

    Really hc just requires less aim skill..you have to trace people less.. Thus you have become bad.

      No, a lot of HC player seem to play it because they get sick of lag. It reqires less accuracy, but more speed and anticipation. They just develop a different set of skills. Personally, I've always valued strafing and accuracy over speed and camping, so I play core and just leave the laggy lobbies.
