Have you at any point created an ELITE account with this youtube account linked? Can you try revoking youtube access to your google account, and then try to relink. To do this, navigate to the following site: https://accounts.google.com/b/0/IssuedAuthSubTokens?hl=en_US and log in. Once there, push the "Revoke Access". When you try to relink next time, you should be given a prompt to grant access to youtube in google. Let us know how it goes. ^JG
