First few bullets out of my gun are marshmallows?

Is anyone else having this problem? The odd game the hit detection is fine, but most of the time it takes half a clip to kill anyone. Seems like the first 5 bullets or so just go threw the enemy. Am I lagging? Any suggestions? I thought it might be my aim but I've even tried dropping my sensitivity :( nothing is working

    I have a video of me emptying an entire clip into someone, with dead on accuracy(my iron sights pretty much in the persons face almost), and not even 1 hit marker... Not sure if this would be lag though because going back and watching, I always had a 4 bar(perfect) connection.

     

    Makes it really hard to get headshots when trying to unlock the golden camos for guns, not to mention ruins your K/D when it's not your fault.

    I'll just say this ... if your bullets are like marshmallows, you're doing better than me.

     

    My bullets temporarily vanish into opponents then magically reappear right behind them. If, by chance, there are two opponents where one is in front of the other? Yep, bullets disappear into the second one only to reappear after leaving the targets yet again!

     

    At least your marshmallows bounce right off of bullet-proof targets.

      this game blows as of late.  i cant even get matched up with Americans.  friggin ridiculous.  the constant yellow bar lobbies.  guys doing the now you see me, now you dont, bang ur dead.

      Maybe marshmallow wasnt the best way to describe it, sounds like we have the same problem, dead on the target but no hit markers. Glad to hear I'm not the only one. Hopefully Treyarch fixes the problem with the DLC update, maybe then I'll consider putting more $ into the game.

    I've only got this problem with lmg's the first few shots that hit the person don't register,  just take yesterday I was playing demo on nuketown and I was defending the bomb in the garage and I was laying down fire and a player from the other team just stepped into my line of fire and sprayed me down with a smg but I never got a single hit marker how the hell does that happen

    Same here. Unless I get the drop on them, nine times out of 10, my opening burst doesn't register with the target and I get shot. Good old lag.

    Its not your connection, its either bad host selection or bad matchmaking. There is nothing we can do to fix this, its up to Treyarch to repair their broken multiplayer.
