Bandwidth and ip adress questions

What is the diff between external and internal ip adress?,and I have a bandwidth of 10000kbps while playing bo2 so is it good or bad?and what does Geographical region-17 mean,I checked this info At the multiplayer home screen,then after going to options Pressing the select/back button,what should my bandwidth be for smooth online gaming?

External IP address is by what other machines in the world view you as.

Internal IP address is by what other machines on your local network view you as. Each machine on the network has the same External IP address.

This game needs roughly 5kb/s upload and download to function correctly in game, more if you are host. Yours is fine.

Leave it as it is.

If other people on your network use the internet for heavy things such as streaming/downloading (Netflix or torrents for example) then look up Quality of Service.

Also, ensure your NAT Type is Open. That makes the biggest difference. The reason is because with a NAT Type Open, you can essentially connect to anyone, meaning the game has more options when putting you in a lower latency lobby.

Look up 'DMZ -your router name here- to find out how to make it be open, and stay open.

My nat is always open,even then it takes a lot of time to find matches and even after a match is found it lags,and I am always 1-1.50 second behind them and I didn't understand exactly what your second line meant(the quality of service one) what should I look?

Internal is the ip of your xbox in local network, external the ip you get from your provider.

10.000kbps is perfect.

geo region number is based on which region your dashboard is set.

If 10000kbps is perfect then why do I lag?My speed,ping,latency is good,I also saw on one of the youtubers video about bufferbloat

you don't lag unless the host is far away and you are on a 3bar or below.

I mainly play with people living in India only,and still get 3 bars while they get 4 bars,and even our connections speeds are almost the same.

your ping to host is to high, its not your fault, its the host selection in this game.

what about your upload speed as stated on previous posts your upload speed has to be fast enough

ok so i tested it again ping is-10m/s,upload speed 1.85mbps and download speed is 1.82mbps
