EMP Overpowered?

what do you think guys? I think the EMP is far too overpowered, to the point where most games i have been in more and more are using it and it is really getting on my nerves.

 

It seems to take out the whole god damn map

 

I mostly play on chaos, and at the weekend i was playing on my brothers account and dropped in a headquarters on Nuketown game.

A clan on the other team basically barraged the map with EMP's, they must have had scavenger on.

I got some decent kill streaks going on but couldnt call them in most of the time

 

I am all for using equipment to an advantage but this is riduculous, the other tac's take effect in a small area, but the radius of the EMP is insane

 

 

Is it just me?

    What?

     

    The EMP is supposed to take out the whole map. Good riddance to those electronic scorestreaks as well.

    No it's not "overpowered" you are just some camper who thinks kills should be handed to you the EMP and EMP Grenade are NOT "overpowered" it's called learn to adapt that's why Hard Wired was put into the game. If you don't know how to adapt sell your game cause I am sick of complainers like you ruining games because you aren't being catered to and having kills handed to you.

    Radius could be smaller indeed, but other than that emp grenades are fine as it is.

    They nerfed the EMP before it took 1 to destroy and AGR. But now its 2

    It does great against campers who like to store 3-4 pieces of equipment around themselves. I've taken down a Sentry and Guardian Streak as well as two Shock Charges and a BB. All with one throw of a EMP Grenade. That's the number 1 way to prevent camping and I say leave it be

    I can assure you i am no camper, on small maps its a pain even when rushing

    you have obviously never been in a game when the other team have been constantly throwing EMP's

     

    you can earn score streaks like guardian and sentry gun to protect an area, then someone throws an EMP about 2 miles away and it takes it out completely, even through walls.....yeah your right, its not oever powered at all

    Disable it yes, but destroy it? not correct imo.

     

    I dont run with any tactical weapons most of the time, i rush in nearly 90% of the time, so i guess that makes me a proper camper.

     

    Maybe i should start using it!
