Official patch thread ( list of issues for the devs )

Hello,

 

 

Lets make a list of things  that needs patching. Post any glitches or gamebreaking stuff here and i will update this thread.

 

 

 

Things that needs patching ( last patch was at december 14 )

 

 

Hipfire on smg's and shotguns needs to get a nerf.

Bouncing care packages

Theater mode being really broken not recording gameplays and not showing points.

Camo challenge are being shown at the wrong camo ( sometimes )

Combat training, when selecting no weapons for bots bots will use the m27 with reflex sight.

Emblems not saving and freezing at the upload to playercard screen.

You dont get a bloodthirsty medal when you're killstreak is in use when switching rounds. ( got 4 kills in one round with the svu, then 1 kill in the second round with the svu and i dindt get the bloofdthirsty challenge. ) Confirmed with the svu dsr and ballista.

LAG COMP

Spawns.

 

Help me expanding this list and making it the developers a little bit easier.

    Lag comp needs removing. Once removed, show me what my ping is so I know who or what to blame if my k/d is a cricket score

     

    Team balancing. I like to play a fair game. Let me choose what side to go on when the teams are 6 v 2.

     

    Get rid of clan stacking

     

    Allow vote kicks at 75% majority

     

    Stop people spawning behind you and/or in areas you've just checked are clear

     

    Increased damage for head shots. I'm sick of being shot in the ankles and rear

     

    Sort the hitboxes so you only score when you hit the target, not a metre either side

     

    Server connects and disconnects. Stop putting me on US servers. Just because some of the maps are set there, it doesn't mean I want to play there. Stop also the random disconnects and the unable to connect screen

     

    Last but not least, I also seem to get random spawns where I respawn with a different weapon. Once I die and respawn again, it's back to normal. Only happens maybe once every few days, but its weird

      Server connecting and disconnecting issues will not be changed.

       

       

       

      And why not? Because those are all dedicated server options or benefits. And we all know how much they like dedicated servers.

    SMG - Needs more hip fire recoil

    LMG - Need Recoil, Damage Buff also decrease the movement speed. ( It'll get more people to want to use them ) PS: Also decrease the amount of time it takes to reload

    Pistols - Needs a nerf

    AR - Buff Damage

    Snipers - Increase the amount of time it takes to aim and put more of a random shot when hip firing.

    FMJ - It needs a buff

    - proper dedicated servers with server browser,, ( will never happen)

    -numbers instead of bars as ur ping ..( will never happen ) obvious no 1 gets a 25 ping anymore  more like 225ms ,so having bars just to hide the fact that we all have terribleconnection.

    Way too many hackers, - failed anticheat system (  big suprise there )

    i agree with the weapon nerfs.

     

     

    and the all important ,zombie mode ,,why i purchased this dam game ,,

     

    tranzit is completley broken,,

    -random freezes

    -"black ops 2 has stopped working error"

    -reverts to desktop for no reason .. WTH?-

    -cannot revive with the fire seven pistol equipped

    -no lobby chat , i mean c'mon treyarch seriously,

    -certain weapons cannot be stored in the fridge ,, papped shotgun cannot be stored but u can store an rpg, u cannot store the colt pistol but u can store the mustang & sally, seriously not enuf space in there for a papped shottie ?  lame

    -it's been confirmed ,,no mod tools or radiant ever for this game,

     

    pretty obvious that all they care for is your hard earned cash,  fine don't let the talented map makers out there make zombie maps ,,as you know they'll put your original maps to shame..

    Please with the next COD game  , just don't bother making a pc version , or should i say console port., These console ports are really unacceptable for us pc users and the amount of headache you put us through.. not to mention the deceit..and then the complete abscence of any kind of support which is so badly needed trying to figure out  this console port..

    Add rentable unranked servers with full customization that allow leveling up/prestiging seperately from ranked matchmaking  - Will never happen, but it's their ONLY chance of saving this game.

     

     

    Add an on screen indicator for hardcore mode to inform the player when ghost is active/inactive (in softcore you can pay attention to your arrow on the minimap)

     

    Remove lag compensation (seriously I've started firing up downloads to kill my internet speed just to be able to play without getting comped - and it works, I go from getting hitmarkers galore without kills, to my shots actually registering when I fire them)

     

    Replace the ping bars with numbers - Will never happen since the entire reason for the bars is to HIDE our connections... I still firmly believe 4 bars is anything under 200ms...

     

     

     

    ---Get off their asses and actually start banning people with highly offensive emblems and/or names (especially the racist ones)  Then release a BAN LIST to show that they actually do have an anti cheat team.

    There needs to be an options to turn off sound occlusion in this game like we could in bo1.

    - anything connected to the network part is #1 easily. Lag compensation, servers lagging, matchmaking, connection interrupted

    - my #2 is an in-game problem, to be exact the spawns. They were bad in BO but they're unbelievably bad now. Spawning right behind an enemy, in direct line of sight of an enemy / killstreak? Doesn't work for me.

    - #3 Hardcore playlists. Increase their number, shuffle the modes, offer something that allows us to play some of the objective-based modes.

     

    I think if the network part was "fit" enough we wouldn't see many complaints about weapon balance anymore.

    Another problem I have is the content as I still don't like the maps we have right now. As the system isn't working very well and we already have too few players I wouldn't bother to buy more though. No DLC this time around for me!

    Remove or repair the lag comp.

     

    Of course work on the hipfire/range of SMG

     

    Remove TDM from the moshpit matches and replace with objective based game play like CTF

     

    When you get a full lobby launch the game,get away from the countdown timer, when its full launch.

        also people being able to exploit the tk kick system by repeatedly shooting your explosive equipment whilst stood on/near them which in turn kills them and counts as a tk towards you, also cant we have a Kick inplemented when somebody TK's you for your care pakage
