When is the Next Official PS3 Patch?

When is the Next Official PS3 Patch?

 

     I was wondering when the next Official PS3 Patch is going to come out for Black Ops 2. Is there any information on progress made to issues and bugs in the Black Ops 2 or a date for when the next Patch will be released. Any information would be appreciated.

    Expect one around the end of february. To get the DLC working ...


    Seems like that's the only thing they care about. This whole game is broken in it's core, no patch will fix this mess they made.

    people have been askin this question for weeks.

    the games broken, and the communication from treyarch/activision about what is happening is none existant.

    No idea. I read yesterday that they are working on patch 1.05, but I only found it on one site, so take it with a grain of salt. I've put this game on the shelf because of the numerous freezing issues. I thought my PS3 bricked yesterday. It wasn't turning on after it froze after one single game of multiplayer. Only game that does this to my system. It usually freezes after a game and it's on the loading screen. Sometimes, it freezes going into a game, like yesterday. It's a hard freeze too, can't even access the XMB and have to hold down the reset button every time. All those system restores can't be good for the HDD and it showed yesterday when it didn't even want to turn on and when it did, it said 'Cannot start. The appropriate system storage cannot be found.' It eventually turned on after about an hour. It took another 30 minutes for it to run at a normal rate. So this game is on the shelf until they fix the freezing issues.

    I've lost hope. I think they're focusing on DLC, which is going to run like absolute trash requiring multiple patches to get it to run decently. I think Trey Arch is happy with how the games perfoming for most and that a solution for connectivity is beyond their abilites to repair so DLC is their biggest concern at present.

     

    Decent pretty much sums up the standard of the latest CoD titles. It runs great for a very small minority, good for a small majority and sub-par for a large minority making it average at best.

     

    The only game mode that has decent connections is TDM and it's still has too many WTF deaths and they basically tried to kill that game mode b/c it isn't MLG enough by not increasing points awarded for playing the objective (Which is getting kills).

      I don't play much TDM but reckon the connections are probably just as bad, it's just TDM is full of players who can't shoot straight so you don't notice the lag so much when half the lobby is pummelling the sky with bullets

    The most propable time is when Xbox gets DLC. It probably won't deal with the Prestige Glitch but other Ingame changes.

         The DLC release date seems like a good choice but it's true, they won't tell us when it is coming out. Who really knows, sooner than later? Questionable at best. The first Community Update Patch for PS3 was on Dec. 6th 2012 which seems to have come out of nowhere. It was a decently long read, a large attempt fixing the game, and did not work.

     

         Let us hope for a bigger, more successful Patch and let us expect it to maybe not live up. We will see.

        if its dlc only then it wont apply to me cause i only bought game itself in uk not hardend edition or out

               When is the Revolution DLC coming out for PS3 anyway. Xbox always got DLC drops a month before PS3 did through all of MW3. That seem contract is in place for BO2 last I heard. Correct me if I'm wrong. And if the Patch were to come out for the DLC drop would PS3 have to wait a month for both?

            it might be 28th not sure though i think xbox got it on 28th of december so ps3 might be 28th of february or is that 28th of january ant got a clue bud only thing we can hope is its quick

         PSN is undergoing maintenance all day Jan. 17th-18th. Hopefully it maybe has something to do possibly with a patch for BO2. Highly unlikely but what other hope should we have.
