I have the Tritton Pro+ True 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround Sound Headset. I have no problems or complaints with it what so ever, but for arguement sake what is the best gaming headset to YOU????

I use Astro A50's right now. I have a TB px21 with the DSS too, but it sounds awfully bassy on Black Ops 2 for some reason. I have the bass boost off like you're supposed to when you run the dss. I was never a believer that Astros were that much better than TB's, but I can honestly say for me they are a huge step up overall.

Honestly, If your talking about soundwhoring in black ops 2 I think it is virtually non-existant even when you use awareness, but if you had no budget the best headset is the astros.

I own both TB X41 and Astro A40s and normally I'd favour the X41 purely for sound because it makes the sound richer on other games.  Made many arcade racers I play on sound realistic but the constant worrying over batteries is annoying when I'm partied up with friends.  They are also more comfortable to wear than the Astro A40s but I've heard the mic is good on the A40s and it's wired so no fuss over batteries.  So atm I say the X41s.

I got Astro A50's, and they're REALLY good, but I don't think the headset really matters that much with Black Ops 2, yet, since the sound isn't super good.
