  Me and 2 friends are also having this problem.. cant open the xbox menu or do anything.. please fix this someone!

    We found out if you just sit at the black screen for a few minutes it should let you get on. There will be two black screens before you can connect.

    also experiencing same thing.  black screen, completely unresponsive.  coincided with downloading a title update i think.

      also, same resolution as vmart1an...if you wait about 2 minutes, the first black screen goes away.  the second black screen took longer, about 4 minutes (default to multiplayer).
