Diamond camo looks like something Elton John would put on his gun.

Is it just me or does it look ridiculous. For the last camo to unlock you think they would have made something a little cooler than that.

    When I heard "Diamond", I thought the gun would look like glass. I was a little disappointed to see that it's actually just gold with white dots.

        Cherry Blossom is pretty badass looking though. Skulls seems like a better choice of representing crap.

            Yeah. Is it just me, or does this feel like an InfinityWard Multiplayer in terms of customization? All the camos Black Ops had, all the dots, coloured lens, face paint, first Perk character change. Now, it just kind of feels like an empty experience to me.

            Mostly because it doesn't feel like there's any reasoning to a whole team of porn star Walter White's, unlike the whole teams of bush Wookies in Black Ops.

    I greatly dislike it. I just finished the challenges for the Shotties and I switched it to the other camos. The really should leave this kind of stuff up to the community. Have a competition for camo designs or something

    The really absurd, confusing part is calling it "CAMO"

     

    REALLY??? Like if I'm hiding in Paris Hiltons cell phone drawer, or Fitty's mouth, or Fort Knox....(wait, there's no gold there, I digress) but really? "Camo"? Could they not just call all the bedazzled finishes "finishes" or similar?

     

    Then where the hell is the Sthparkle camo (lisp inserted)? Rainbow camo?

    Yeah I hate the look of diamond camo. I suppose, eventually, I might work towards getting them all to say I have, but will never equip one.

        haha! Yesterday I seen a final kill cam with diamond iron sighted Ballista... looked pretty cool, but not amazing.

         

        A lot of the low level camo's are better. The carbon fibre on AN-94 is awesome

    I agree that they are absolutely horrible.

     

    We should have two camos to choose from when selecting a gun:

    One that we actually see on our screen, and another one that people will see when watching our killcams. Don't get me wrong, i'm going to unlock diamond camos, but I will never ever ever play with that horrible thing on MY screen, it's disgusting.

    The final camo should've been Pack a Punch. Diamond just looks horrible. I was expecting some Emma Frost looking gun that would make up for the PDW's piece of crap Gold, nope. Got the piece of crap Gold with little shiny dots in a row.

    Despite the fact that I'm working on diamond camos for the SMG's, yes, they are hideous and very fruity looking. The "diamond" camo should've been a "make-your-own-camo" feature. Nothing too extravagant but something where you could use certain pre-defined patterns and mix/match your own colors choices. That would've been much more satisfying then the lame ass diamond camo.

    Seriously though, I love that **** - it looks like some garish crap one of the Rough Ryders would wear to The Source Awards. Every gun I have diamond for, I roll with it when I use it. Love it when it makes the final killcam and I can see the sun glinting in the shine of my diamond QBB as it kicks back while mowing down 3 enemies to finish up a TDM match! Over the top ridiculousness!!

        I don't mind it really. I agree something like platinum would be better however diamond is still not bad. What I take aways from it is that the developers have at least gave you something for getting all guns in a class gold. I still work towards diamond camo and attach it when I earn it. I worked too hard on the combat knife diamond to not use it.

          i think everyone will work towards it as its all good XP, most people will use it not because they like the way it looks but more too show off the fact that they earnt it (or glitched thier way to it)

            People keep talking about glitching to get diamond. I know there's a prestige glitch or was or something. I know about the invisible shield glitch but I guess I'm the only one that doesn't know about the diamond camo glitch. Maybe that's why I went from seeing no diamond camo to diamond camo in every room in a matter of a day.

              The prestige glitchers all copied hacked prestige accounts from prestige hackers. The prestige hackers (crackers really, and I don't mean the racial insult) can select what they give themselves, so there must be some who gave themeselves diamond and nothing else, and then THOSE got glitch-duped. That's why you'll see so many people at low pestiges who already have diamond something or others.

          That is how you used to get the gold camo. They had this camo called Red Tiger that you got after getting 250 headshots with a single gun. You had to do that with every gun in that class to unlock gold. But remember shotguns were not not nearly as powerful on the the older games; sub machine guns had a lot more recoil; a semi auto assault rifle took just as many shots to kill as a fully auto weapon; and some snipers required 2 shots to kill (even in head sometimes). Back when it took far more talent (and time) to acquire the golden camo that every player envied.

            I forgot about that actually. Well this is the first time you earn the special camo on all the guns in that class. COD4 you only earned the gold in one of the guns in that class. I know for snipers it was the dragonauve but that's all I remember. Anyway that's retarded about the diamond camo glitch. I still haven't fully decided if I'm going to worry about the guns that require headshots.

    I actually prefer Carbon Fiber, Art of War, and my CE Digital to the Gold camo... Though, I can see myself using the diamond camo once I have it. Imagine getting the final kill-cam using a diamond studded Scar-H with a Yellow-Smiley reflex sight! It adds a bit of humor to the game, I think.

     

    Now. Would I coat my guns in gold and diamonds in real life? Hell no! I'm not a pop-star, rapper, drug-lord, or dictator. It serves absolutely no purpose on a real weapon, other than to prove you never use it for target practice; let alone hunting, self-defense, or warfare.

    anyone  who tries to unlock it legit will appreciate the camo.

    worked hard for mine on the SMG and currently doing it for AR and shotgun.

     

    its what keeps this game intresting for me as i get only frustration from the BS lagg.
