Why play Clan ops anymore?

Elite,

 

What purpose does elite serve outside the statistical portion? Why does my clan play clan challenges / operations? To earn background colors?

 

Even though Elite is free it is now quiet pointless.

    Honestly I feel exactly as you do. The only reason my clan keeps playing is just out of pride to reach level 50 again. They really took the fun out of clans. We can't even show our title like we use on MW3.

     

    BO2 is a lost cause in my book. Infinity ward makes better games ( my opinion of course ) and they also made their game clan compatible. I am waiting for MW4 to see what happens.

    I feel the same way. You can't let your clan know when there is a clan op or clan challenge like you could at the bottom of your clan roster on MW3. I have not been able to view my roster to kick people from my clan. You don't earn double xp or anything either like you did on MW3 when you reached level 10, 20 and so on. To play 3 hours on a weekend day for nothing is really crappy! Beachhead, please do something about it and fast!

    Well its beachhead who is running Elite, and they must have said "f---k it!"

    hell you cant even do anything on elite right now.  could not see one score yesterday clan ops.  didnt know we got gold till it was over.  tried elite on console all i got is bad server response.  tried on computer and you get oops something went wrong.  this has been out a year and they still got there heads so deep somewhere.

    I totally agree clan ops are pointless. There is no rewards for playing except a dorky background. And even less for Hard Core Clans hell we don't even get the chance to play operations. Ony excuse I ever get for not having hC Ops is that there is not enough players. Which personally if think is BS. Just my opinion though.

    Getting these same issues for todays clan op too.  Also it only shows I've played 2 games but played the full 3 hours for the op.  What a joke this is turning into.

    Even when I check the theatre in game it only has 2 games there as well

    It may seem pointless and it is quite frustrating that the rewards aren't there yet, but you can probably rest assured that they will be added back in at some point in the near future. They totally dropped the ball on this and it should have been available day one.  The reason I play Clan Ops is to level up my clan, to represent my clan, and because I believe we will get the rewards once they add them back in to Elite.
