Glitch on Hijacked - Cant get care package

Every now and again I toss out a care package on the back end of the boat.  If it lands on the ridges on the deck just in front of the hot tub (there is one on each side) it just sits and bounces and cannot be claimed.  After about a minute it just disappears.  This probably needs addressed.  Anyone else have this issue?

    FYI - this is reproducable every time.  If the mods or devs need a demo, Im happy to put it in my file share.

      I already have a video under my Elite account on this. Happened to me on Drone. All I could think is WTF?!?!?! Really discouraging.

    All the time. Funny thing is that this happens to me alot and EVERY SINGLE TIME I'll sit there expecting, "this will be the time is works" and, no, it never does. The care package will keep moving/jiggling and then just disappear. Fortuantely, I'm usually killed waiting for the stupid care package to stop moving so neither I or the guy who shot me will get it. And I usually spawn near that area so I just go back there and shoot him while HE tries to claim my care package. I guess it sorta works out in the end

        I have had a few duff care packages on hijacked, i just thought it was someone fu*kin about with a black hat.

    If you know the spot why throw your carepackage there then. They are aware of all the issues but got there cash and are in the bahmas on the beach saying hahah we got there as.ses

    Sorry for bringing this thread back up but thought it better than starting a new one.
    I have had this problem myself in exactly the spot you mention.

    However I have also had this problem on meltdown, the package landed half on half off the curb so sat at an angle the same as it did on the boat and I simply could not claim it so stood up and got shot. Spawned with the wonderful spawning system about 50 yards away and ran back to see that it had either gone or the player who shot me had claimed it.

    Is there a way enemy players can stop you claiming your own carepackage?

    I've seen it happen a couple times. I've also seen a care package do a 100 foot bounce off the map. Glitches happen, and all you can really do is get another one and hope they fix it.

    I have seen this glitch and had it to happen to me also.....If i see my package start that weird bouncing (I call it jiggling) since it dosent bounce back up into the air ...........I shoot the package with my weapon ...4 or 5 rounds .......then usually i get to collect it....the problem is it takes about 15 seconds after i fire my rounds into it....before it will aloow me to get it......which is a long time on hijacked

      Same thing happened with me on Hijacked. I couldn't claim it so I was pissed an just shot it. Then, like 10 seconds later it let me claim it. Don't know why it worked but it did. lol

      No!

       

      This has happened to me on a lot of the maps.

       

      When the Package lands on an uneven surface, sometimes it rocks back and forth and doesn't show the content, thus not letting you collect it. Very annoying in HCTDM when all you really want is a UAV or Hellstorm.

        damn... that sucks.

         

        I have never had this happened because I stopped using CPs on Hijacked.  Esp in HC (the last time I got killed by a CP jacker on my team)
