It sure is difficult.  I can hear my teammates stomping around like crazy, but the enemy footsteps I barely pick up if at all.  And they aren't using dead silence either.  Even when I am using dead silence I can barely hear them.  Is it just me?  Do I need to calibrate my headphones better or is it just really hard to hear them?

I think they need to be louder.  I shouldn't be able to hear my teammates stomping around so loud all around me and then not be able to hear the enemy at the same range.
