Kill confirmed competition Wrong Ranking? -help

Hey,

Yesterday we made about 360 confirms. Elite told us that we just reached the top 100% but it also showed the we are rank 6011 of 32108

So lets calculate

6011 / 32018 * 100 = 18,72

So If we calculate its shows, that we reached the top 18 % so we should have got the 500ep instead of 250ep

So whats Wrong Here?

    The numbers on the elite site are your placement amongst all enlisted clans. However, they don't how you many participating clans there were and that is what the calculations are based off of.

     

    So it isn't really 6011 / 32018, it is probably more like 6011 / 25000 or something like that. 

     

    It is another example of how the elite system is really messed up.

      So why do they say a wrong number. If they really dont know, why are they saying it

        The numbers are correct, it is showing you all the clans that enlisted. What it should show you instead is the number of clans that ONLY played the clan operation. This issue started back in MW3 and there has been no resolution nor explanation from BEACHHEAD.

          Btw for today's battle it's the same.

            Or if you don't play, you won't reach any ep?

            I thought if you enlist your clan you will reach the 250 ep...

            So then it calculat the clans that played...

            But why do they show us the number of clans which are enlisted...

            ******* crazy.

            They should also fix that clan members who joined before the match begins are allowed to kill for the clan :/

              The issues you speak of have been addressed many times since MW3. Unfortunately they have not been fixed.

               

              Enlisting in a clan operation without playing ( not getting at least one confirm or kill ) will NOT earn you 250 clan xp. You need to at least get one confirm or kill depending on the game mode to earn at least 250 clan xp.

               

              The number that is correct is the number of clans enlisted. That's all, it is NOT the number of clans that PLAYED the clan operation. Only the clans that played will count. The math you do is irrelevant since BEACHHEAD did not fix this issue. No way to calculate where you placed, you can only guess.

                  And to clarify, the issue Beachhead did not resolve is the posting of the correct numbers from which the percentage is derived.  Supposedly, feedback from the community (I never saw it and don't know who did) suggested it was TOO easy to get Gold based on the total of enlisted clans.  We can't see ethe denominoatr used to determine percentage now.  We play our hearts out in hope that we fall in the final tally with a super dee duper badge.

                   

                  So, continue to have fun playing your heart out with the clan members that actually do turn on the Xbox during the event!  ANd good luck.

                  To further clarify where this came from. When Elite first came out with MW3 it was all based off of where you ranked amongst the enlisted clans.  About half way through MW3, they changed it (without telling anyone) to be based off of the number of participating clans.  Unfortunately, this change was only made in the calculation of the percentage and the Elite site was never updated to show us the actual number of participating clans. Thus, we can never calculate our true percentage...which really sucks.

                   

                  The numbers on the elite site are correct (your rank and the number of enlisted clans). The number that is missing is the number of participating clans (which is the key number needed to determine the acutal rank percentage).

                   

                  Hope this clarifies the situation a bit more.

                          You have to scan through the leaderboards or monitor the top clans out there to find them. Even then you aren't guaranteed to find out who won the champion badge. You'd think this is something they would announce.

                      I knew it had been partially described...I was trying to add in the full history of how it came to be the way it is now.
