Holiday Event announced....for MW3!?!?!

So BO2 is out now and they are trying to get the Ops and Challenges going on there, and then they offer up a special clan op event for MW3? Seems so odd.

The link is to a News item posted on the Elite site for a second MW3 Clan Op (for the Xbox 360) on Sunday that is also double the XP of a normal Op. I'm okay with them having MW3 challenges and Ops, but please promote the game that people are actually playing the most!

 

Maybe I'm jumping the gun w/ this post and maybe we will see something for BO2 soon...maybe...

    Life, this is great for the MW3 clans not yet at Level 50.  BO2 Elite is not mature enough to throw something like this together.  Shucks, they can't tell a Core kill from a Hardcore kill in the Leaderboards or in the Clan Ops tallies.  We need to give the BO2 Elite mechanism sometime.

     

    Another fellow clan member and I bounce over to MW3 to enjoy the playability now that the bandwidth hogs are playing BO2.  Our clan had a goal of Level 50 by last Halloween and we made it.  Now, except for the two of us, all are either playing Halo or BO2.  Still, some of the clans below Level 50 were a blast to play with and I look forward to some time in MW3 this Saturday night after the BO2 afternoon clan ops.

     

    BL: Support the game you enjoy with patience and feedback.  Patience in others usually is a rare commodity, but we can think Globally as we act locally.

      Agreed.  Like I said, I'm all for them having competitions for MW3 as I know people still play it and I know not all clans are level 50.  I just hope they show some love to the BO2 community as well as it is the most current game.  I also realize that the Ops/Challenges still have their issues... Hopefully they can get their act together soon.

        They are trying to give all clans a chance to reach level 50 before discontinuing clan operations for MW3, that's my guess.

            I said nothing about march 1 on this thread.  There you go with your accusations. Lets not bring up the insults ( calling people toads and what not ) for peoples opinion on another thread.

            I know. It's like he wants it to be discontinued or something.  I didn't get pizza yesterday...but the craving still exists!

              No LifeSong, I don't really care if it gets discontinued or not. I just voiced my GUESS that was all. But when Tinman insults people by calling them toads etc. because of their opinion then he deserves no respect. I am actually shocked and disappointed that you back up a character like Tinman.

                This is where textual communication flaws come in to play.  I was being very sarcastic and trying to have a good time. It was all said in a sarcastic way (including the wink at the end). I thought you would catch on that I was just being humerous and not being serious by the fact that I brought up the pizza (again...trying to lighten to the mood).

                 

                I'm not taking backing anyone up, I was just trying to have a little light hearted humor. Sorry for the confusion.  You are very informed in what you are talking about and I did not mean to offend you in any way.

                 

                As for the "toad" comment, I have no clue which thread you are referring to as I think I may have missed that post.

                  Sorry LifeSong, I jumped the gun and over reacted. I was in a rush when I typed my posted and didn't take the time to catch on to the humor part of your post. For that I apologize. Please forget and disregarde my post. Sorry again.

                   

                  For Tinman I make no apologizes what so ever. I just can't respect anyone that wants to degrade someone else for their opinion. The thread I was referring to was BO2  not MW3  Now his comment wasn't targeted at me, it was targeted at the OP of the thread. But still, just hate the attitude he comes across with.

    Very nice time last night getting the special Christms Badge in MW3 following Gold in the BO2 Core TDM Clan Ops.

     

    The badge has grenades as ornaments with a green wreath around it.  Next year, it will be BO2's turn to snazz up a badge for us on Christmas.
