1 bar red dot connection rooms

Can anyone tell me if this thing that was going on yesterday is still going on today? Full rooms of people with red dots rubberbanding and shaking with seizures all over the place.  I just want to prepare myself before I get online.

    Is this happening for everyone? Certain areas? Im trying to convince the moderators whats happening and filled out a support ticket, but support tickets dont usually accomplish anything in my experience with them.  Maybe we should flood Vonders Twitter until someone acknowledges that this is even happening?

    Are you guys still experiencing it? My red barring problem is gone but then my playlist changed again. I now have people of my skill level, again. I was red barring last night and it disappeared this morning. My playlist was then composed of players of varied skill levels. It all changed after past 12 PM EST.

     

    Btw, I just received a new hotfix  update less than 5 minutes ago.

    Red bar confirmed. Connetion issues were terrible last night, OK this morning, now lousy again. Even when I have green connection I can't get a kill. First thought I was having an off day. I never know what I'm going to get with this game.

    Cowboy the red dot siezure you speak of has been a issue in Ground war mostly. But i did experience it in Leauge play lastnight. A few of my friends that were with me. Are micrsoft game test employees and they both came to the conclusion that it had to be a Lag switch. There was one person on the other team that had full movement and could cap flags. while the rest of us were more or less frozen in the game. Funny thing was..They still lost!

      It is not just in ground war. It is doing it no matter what game type. Happens for about 30 second to a minute in every game. It screws up the sync. Sometimes I remain 4 bars other times I am one of the players that goes down to 1 red. Last game all but 2 players went down to 1 red. Why can they not at least acknowledge something is wrong? To arrogant?

      Ive heard its in all modes, not just ground war, which I dont play.  I play simple TDM mostly and this has been going on for over 24 hours now unacknowledged.

        I'm trying to play Core:TDM... 5/7 1bar bullshit lobbies. It's definitely not a lag-switch because it's happening too f**king frequently. Plus, a couple 4bars will go to 1bar & vise versa... Obvious signs of programming errors on Treyarch's behalf.

        Whatever the issue is they need to fix it. i guess this could be issue #419 on the list of fixes.

         

        Bottom line, i have lost all and any paitence for this game. it was a poorly designed MP with to many issues. As you can all tell by my post count that i have been a member of this community for a long time. I will say this has been the worst Call of Duty ever created. I am sorry to say i will be spending the rest of this year playing either MW3 or halo 4. Such a let down this game was

        I've tried almost every single game type including hardcore modes, and all of them are expiriencing the same thing. The only lobbies i found somewhat, and i use somewhat to mean about half the time, playable are the party games such as sticks n stones, ect.

    As mentioned by OP, the best way to get the attention of the developers is probably by posting things on twitter for them. AKA Vonderhaar's. If enough people mention the on going issue, hopefully something will be done..

    Havent had the red bar in a few games, can't search with any of my friends though and their having trouble looking for games to, keeps saying error modifying session.

      I can tell matchmaking is messed up too. It takes a few minutes of connecting and kicking people before a game will even start. I'm sure it is all related.

    I have taken a break from all of the lag of black ops 2 until the "next" fix is out. I put matchmaking preference on "BEST" connection, and then it still is bogus. Then the host leaves and it migrates, and then everyone has a 1 or 2 bar.

     

    Lets get it fixed Treyarch please. BO2 has huge potential.

        The other thing that is upsetting is that mw2 was far better hit detection and lag comp than both mw3 and bo1 and bo2. Why is that? Heck even the graphics were better on mw2.

         

        I really feel BO2 has some great innovation and balance. I think 90% of the maps are trash, and want my nuketown 24/7 all the time. I do not play zombies, so I am not playing right now, but may play this wkend if it is double xp like I just read on twitter.

         

        I just want to see BO2 fixed. I love CoD.

          Yeah, CoD was a great franchise up until BO1... Then it started going downhill for me. MW3 was 'meh' at best... BO2 was complete and utter garbage at first, then it became okay, about on par with MW3... Now it's just sh*t... I could literally sh*t in a game case & it would be a more enjoyable product than what this game is right now. At least one could laugh in disgust upon opening a game-case filled with human fecal matter. Like damn, I just got played so hard *lols*

            And if the fecal matter was less $ than the 100$ I spent on this fecal matter, Id be happier than I am with BO2.

    So another night of not being able to play, we are on 48 hours of red dot connections, everyone on my friends list confirms it. Still no response from the ticket I submitted or anyone else with 3arch. But they did mention to put out messages about double xp weekend.  So if I get no points in a match cause my guy bounces all over, what will double xp of no points equal...

     

    Are you guys still having this trouble too?  I feel like there would be more people complaining if it was everyone.... Im lost for words.

      I am not having this issue.  My lobbies are usually all people with 4 bars and the occasional 3.

       

      Are you selecting "Best" under the search preferences?

        I use best. In the 6 room s I attempted to play in, the first 3 were all full red dot rooms which people were just slowly backing out of cause they couldnt move. (I didnt not bring friends with me last night to test this,just me). The fourth room I got into showed 2 people start with red dots, then they went up to 4. This room was fine. I played 2 rounds with no lag in this room and I decided to back out to keep testing this room thing. The 5th room was another red dot room were people were all just leaving again, so I left. The 6th room I tried was another red dot room.    5/6 rooms last night were all red dot connection rooms. 1 was good. Of the 6 people that I know that were attempting to play last night, all but one experienced the red dot room problem and stopped playing. 1 guy said he had no issues.

      I only experienced 1 red barring lobby last night. I played 5 matches this morning and they all worked fine. I'm up here in Toronto and they seem to tweaked the matchmaking again. I'm getting people of varrying skill level, once again. It appears that Treyarch is continually tweaking things in the background. So far, it's been flawless with no noticeable traces of lag.
