Call of Duty: Elite app not loading on PS3

I am having a problem loading the COD: Elite application on my Playstation 3. It works from the Black Ops 2 and Modern Warfare 3 games, but the actual app will not open. Check out this video of elite not loading http://youtu.be/oDSQAL2Y7us

 

Any advice is greatly appreciated.
