Hello...if you were reset in any way after playing local read this (CAN ANY MODERATOR OF THE FORUM READ THIS AND HELP US)

hi ive recently found that some people on the forums are reporting that they played local and now were reset or had stats messed up. This has also happened to me...this means that local has to have some sort of code malfunction.or possible glitch...nevertheless if anyone sees this,this is just a quick post i whipped up to notify anyone of the glitch to warn them or get a moderator to pass this to treyarch and get this patched...thanks for your time and have a great day

UPDATE 1

 

a quick note if you suspect you got the glitch but are not sure these are things happening

 

-resets(ranks rolled back)

-stats messed up(scorestreaks called out:103e+24958...nuff said)

-titles that were unlocked locked and locked titles unlocked

-permanent unlocks are locked

-classes reset

-emblems are messed up

-clan tag reset

-challenges reset

-every thing is NEW

if you see this happening to you you may be a victim of the local glitch please contact support immediatley.

 

i have had this happen to me on xbox and hope it doesint go to any others

seems it isint just native to xbox...its spreading like a virus...if this has not happened to you yet FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DONT PLAY LOCAL ITS NOT WORTH IT...

learning to cope with the 6 classes after i got my stats reset...no response from the support team or cutpurse...yet...good luck guys stay strong we will prevail with everything back to normal...oh look a update for game settings...

game setting change did nothing at least i think so...so many people reset by this stuff...HELP US PLEASE

    Yep, this happened to me. WKProvost on PSN. Had trouble connecting to multiplayer, so I decided to play a game of local. After a game of local, decided to go try multi again and got the dreaded "persistent rank data corrupted" error message. Lost a ton of ranks, challenges, stats, etc. PM'd Cutpurse and waiting on a response. Hopefully the company knows there is an issue here since many of us are getting it.

    this happened to me as well. I hate this game-_- ( i was 5th prestige!! and had diamond camo.

    Same issue with local here.  PS3 user.

     

    Went in to local mode the same morning of the 1.04 patch and when I tried to access CAC slots it hard froze.  When I rebooted I received a message that my online stats had been reset.

     

    Fortunately no stat issues (so far), but lost all my extra CAC slots, permanent unlocks, unused tokens and some but not all of my gunsight achievements.  Bizarre

    The same thing happened to me last night. It reset everything for me after playing local. I did get a error code when I logged into black ops 2 to play some online but I didn't see the error code it stated. Needless to sat I too lost everything and was reset to Rank 1 as if I just got the game. Yet it still shows that i have over 1 day of play time.  I'm using an Xbox 360 in the US. gamertag CharlieHewittJr.

    Well, guess what? This happened to me saturday, and I've already PM'd Cutpurse and created a thread about this but nothing has been solved until now. I swear to god, if my stats aren't fixed, I won't buy any more COD games. And it is a shame, because I was actually having fun playing this COD.

    ugh tell me about it my kd was 1.18 WAS i dont know but...i think because of the glitch and challenges getting reset ive lost my motivation to actually play i just get to the pub match lobby stare at the mistake made and turn off the xbox to go on my computer...or maybe tahts just me getting bored

    Same here, Coolman. Loved the game, but if they don't fix this I'm done with the game and quite possibly the series. You'd think with the billions they've made off of us they could have tech support focus on helping us with this GAME BREAKING ISSUE. No luck so far!
