what is REALLY wrong with aim assist and wii remote tips and tricks

lets get it out of the way...aim assist through walls. thats the real issue. picture this..you're using dual analogs on a nintendo console because god knows why, you have your back to a corner,crouching, your mk 46 target finder ready to fire as soon as you hear your shock charges go off when all of a sudden the reticle starts to ove by itself towards the wall. wut. that can only mean one thing...the enemy just went pass the wall you're now staring at. you spray through the kitkatwrapper-thin walls and get a kill. thats whats wrong with aim assist and thats what needs to be fixed. AIM ASSist should NOT be so strong at close range one does NOT need help at close range, aa at cqc should just be REMOVED. Now on to the tips and tricks...

 

At first, like many, i suffered with the mote....but i got used to it. i found the following tricks helpful:

 

1.make your settings insane. wiimote cannot turn as fast as DA...ever. so make your dead zones small.

 

2.find the comfort zone...playing with wiimote can feel awkward..try to feel as comfortable as possible, even if it means sitting naked on your couch

 

3.use low killstreaks(this applies to everyone, not just wiimoters)...be real, you're not ever gonna get dogs, vtol or swarn with your 1.0 kd and 100 spm. use low streaks...it helps you and your team

 

4. hop like a bunny...it is very easy to do on wiimote. just hop-dance around those silly DA users.

 

5.dropshot...there's ads snap, not ads lock...dropshot and those silly DA users will keep shooting at air.

 

6.ask them if they lift

    UAV, Hunter Killer and Care Package will get you tons of kills.

    p.s.  saw someone say that wiimote has been fixed. havent played today as yet. Can anyone confirm this?

      Wiimote NOT FIXED at this moment.

       

      Fix will come only through next update, not by hotfix.

       

      Feels like it's taking forever..

       

      Anyday now Treyarch, come on now...

          Thank you for starting this thread, Arcanine. I've seen you a lot over on the GameFAQs forums as well.

           

          We WILL be adding back the cursor sensitivity setting in our next update. I do not have any information on a date for that update as it is dependent on timing with Nintendo and our own ability to test the updates.

           

          As for everything else on the list, we will review each issue and see what can be done. This is a good thread for us to find the issues on, so feel free to keep posting here. We comb the forums constantly to see how you guys are doing out there.

           

          I will probably also start a sticky post after the Thanksgiving holiday that answers some frequently asked questions and confirms issues we are working on for future updates.

            and then he vanished without a trace. Searches were carried out for days but with no result.

      its not.

       

      wiimote just seems kinda ranodm. sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt, sometimes it semi-works.

    Hey paddy,

     

    Taking your advice and using these settings has actually improved my aim a fair bit for this game.

     

    Btw thanks for the games man. Playing with you guys was fun. Even if I was lagging heaps and handing the other teams kills. :)

     

    Watching you guys play has given me a few more little tricks to use. Unfortunately I got disconnected from the server. But it was fun and you guys killed it.

    hated teh paper thin walls too. shoot through several layers of metal and still do close to full damadge =(.

      I think they were messing around sunday morning. The servers went down then came back on. Some games were better but others the wii mote was doing weird crap. Wouldn't let me turn and other odd things. Can't say how it is now because I am outta town.

    This console was actually made for dual analogs believe it or not, the console was designed to draw in the masses and is far more than just a console, people are buying it because of very unique features, some of them the reason I'm getting it for my boy at Christmas so if those people want to buy a game they play on other consoles and play the same way they do on other consoles it is their right to do so.
