What happen to my Prestiges?

I restarted my second prestige but picked, new start to fix K/D ratio now it took away my prestiges was that suppose to happen? If not this needs fixed patched whatever asap. I am livid.

If you selected reset stats, then yes, it wipes your stats clean, back to no prestige - level 1 and gives you a fresh start
