Skill based matchmaking isn't really fun is it.

Getting tired of having to try hard every game. Tried getting a player with lower SPM to host party, but dose not really seem to make much difference.

 

Have not seen any nooby players all night, been nothing but hardcore quick scopers and pub stars.

 

How do Treyarch look at the success of the series so far based on best connection, and think its a good idea to change that, not to mention the fact their games are laggy as crap anyway, without basing match making on some thing other than best connection.

    I think the match making is pretty good skill wise.

     

    Am not great at the game so it benfits me more i suppose. Only problem is the lag but its livable in this one. Mine is no where near as bad as the Lag in MW3. (I have no idea why)

    I agree with you, I'd like some variety in the lobbies I get into when playing solo.

    If I feel like easier games I party up with a friend, him as party leader, who has a low score per minute when enables me to set higher killstreaks.

    Oh, how I have missed this forum. No other place does my posts get stealth deleted...

     

    Ok, let's rephrase: It sounds as though you were expecting to pubstomp but are unable to do so due to being matched with players of (approximately) equal skill.

    This is not necessarily a flaw in the game or a bad thing at all. (Near) Equal teams can be a way for ALL to enjoy this game - not just the 6 guys winning each match with a blowout.

    The problem is in the fact that the connections are poorer. They should be decided on best connection, not skillbased. Its not a true match of skill if one team has a 4 bar, and the other 2 and a half bar.

     

     

     

    Also yes, the constant deleting of messages is so annoying, might as well call this forum ''China''...ok so this one will be deleted soon too, but cant resist haha

    I'm pretty sure connectivity is the main factor in matchmaking, not skill.

    After Christmas with the diluting of the skill base with the arrival of the Christmas noobs, it will be alot harder to match based on skill.

    I'm pretty sure that if the skill based factor in the matchmaking formula was removed we'd have better connections. Is skill based matchmaking adding enough to the game to justify lesser connections.

     

    People seem split by it, I'd personally prefer better connections

    Do we have any definite proof that skill plays a part of matchmaking?

     

    It might be that this game caters to noobs, making any n00b a viable destroyer on a good connection.

    i haven't tried the skill based matchmaking but will be soon as i'm tired of getting into lobbies with try hards who are in parties of 5-6.  i only get a limited amount of time to play as i have a young one to watch and it just gets annoying when all 6 on the other team are 25-4 and the only other 2 people left on my team are 4-25! ha.  

     

    can you play TDM or DOM on the skill matchmaking?
