If you team steal my care package, I will punish the entire team

After the first team care package theft, I start throwing them at the enemy spawn. This serves two purposes

 

1.) teammates die trying to retrieve it.

2.) teammates die after enemy retrieves it.

 

I hang close enough to black hat it if I see a teammate getting close to retrieving it.

 

That's why we got chewed up by dogs last night. Stop taking what you didn't earn and this will stop.

    I'm pretty sure the majority of the people who come on this forum come here to discuss and complain about such issues, so I doubt you're really reaching any of those that your post is intended to.  Just sayin'.

    At the end of the game view playercard of thief. Then check avoid player. Reason Unsporting Conduct. Simple and 1 less player you will have to steal your care package. I usually will stop and help teammate get his or her carepackage, but thats me.

    I like this. I do the same thing with kill-whoring campers in Obj modes. I see someone sitting in a corner nowhere near an objective for more than 30 seconds, and I trap them there for the entire game. If they leave, good. If they kill themselves, or we get killed, I'll continue to follow them making a red dot on the enemy radar for all of them to chase and kill. And I'll do it again, and again. For not contributing, I make it my mission to piss them off as much as possible. Speech does nothing. This kind of strategy seems to be the only way people learn these days.

     

    @OP, keep them dogs fed, the theives will soon learn.

    Could care less what you do with your CP. Don't want them to get stolen don't use them. Its ridiculously easy to get any sub 1000 scorestreak, a fun challenge to get 1100-1400, and the higher ones are of course difficult. CP used to be a killstreak for the lesser skilled players, its still the same tier for TDM players, but its just a joke to get in any objective mode. I don't steal them, but I don't protect them like I used to.

    i think the simple solution here is to run a CUAV or a hunter killer and actually be useful to the team, besides half the time all you'll get is another RC-XD, hunter killer, UAV, CUAV.

    so skip the waiting and just use one of them as a killstreak

    I've noticed that I can no longer retrieve my own care packages with the black hat.  But I can still take teammates and enemies.  That's stupid.
