I'd be surprised if there are more then 150k playing on Xbox during peak hours, but that is pretty much normal numbers for the game at this stage of it's career. 

 

You know what's sad?  So many other games would kill to have numbers like these, but to IW these numbers now mean nothing so they have basically just stopped supporting the game.

Agreed on all points.  If people are THAT worried about lag, stop buying every COD game that comes out because it has the same issues after every release.  This is why I might hold off buying IW's next release because it's just not as fun playing it so soon after release but a few months later down the line it's usually better for me.  I do occasionally play MW3 myself but I had it pretty bad with artificial ping in the first few months and it got better as time went on, so I don't see why BO2 won't be the same.

If the matchmaking didn't treat whole continents as one giant pool to connect people with (at Europe is) I'm sure some of it would disappear.  Someone in Lisbon is sure going to have a hard time gaming someone living in Vladivostok.

i have. bo2 has to much lag and i is filled with 6 year olds who just scream into the mike that they got killed by a "try hard" using a mp7 when they r using an mp7 too.

i got to agree with you.it seems more "run & gun.also the "launcher" seems to take longer to lock on to badguys airpower.and trying to lock on to the death machine "HKD" or what ever the hell its called is really hard cause of all the curves in the streets.one thing that bugs me is "the commander"warning of the badguys UAV or any weapons drop seems to be almost a half of a second behind.maybe its me but it seems that it takes just about a  whole clip just to knock down a badguy.i guess with the ranking up the weapons and learning the maps and with me a low "K"player its hard to get into this game.

I'm back playing MW3....I only downloaded the last of the DLC last night so It'll be like a new game for me...

Very few host migrations/disconnects in comparison to BLOPS (that's what killed it for me).

Treyarch didn't even make zombies any better than last time and that was lame. Multiplayer in a Treyarch game has more lag for me and I only play hardcore. MW3 would be perfect if hc wasn't ruined with ricochet, they just needed the 3 team kills and you're out like treyarch and team kills doesn't give your teammate a death on their stats. MW4 should be good but the boys who created CoD should kill CoD once and for all. Respawn Entertainment will make the best shooter for the next decade. R.I.P. CoD, IW and Treyarch hate each other and don't even share their ideas so how will this game progress? Each year we get left without an innovation from the previous year. So lame, Activision should check these clowns for sure.
