while you use a particular weapon, you level it up..when you create a class and choose a weapon on the bottom right of that weaopn picture is the weapon level. when it says weapon level max you can prestige that weapon. click on that weapon and in the middle of that page you'll see a prompt to prestige it..

What are the advantages/drawbacks of prestiging weapons

goes up to 100 headshots then it unlocks the rest of the challenges consisting of getting 150 kill using gun without perks, 150 kills without attachments, 20 dbl kill medals, 10 blood thirsty meadals and then the gold camo unlocks..
