They will not ban them. It's a fine line for the company. They need to tell you they will punish the cheaters to keep you paying and playing. But they want to keep the cheaters paying and playing. All previously banned players have NOT been banned on Black Ops 2 but they are still banned on the previous games. So, BO2 will have a larger number of cheaters until they get enough complaints and people stop playing. Then they will crack down some to get you back in. Also, it's a new game. Cheating requires no skill and there is no challenge so once they prestige out they will quickly loose interest and the cheating will slack off some.

One good option on BO2 is you can view other players games. Just check out the leader boards and watch a few of their games. And that's just the cheats you can see. Boosting, aim bot, laggers, etc. Keep up with the cheaters you report in elite. They will almost never get reset. I like to post their cheating in YouTube with their gamer name as a search tag.

And the best one from the company. I'm sure not really thought out. If you leave too many games you will be put on probation. So, you must stay and play with the cheaters or you get punished.

The easiest thing to do would be if you report someone for cheating it PERMENANTLY bans them from being in a room with you. After a few months and being reported they will have fewer and fewer games they can join.

How long have you been out 2 more, but black ops hack prestige and prestige booster proliferated we bother so much to do. perhaps the person does not assign ban hack prestige of thousands of screaming at the top of the list did not kick ban new maps Junior's why we like it is too big black ops prestige to those who have given us even if they do not constantly play black ops booster thank you very much

I got hacked and the freshest start my prestige master. I had everything. Treyarch better do something or this is gonna be a hackers dreamland

Theres a clan called [778] who constantly cheat!

Of course when you confront them about it, they just claim they're good.

But on many occasions my team has tested them; they have no uav or satellite, yet they know exactly where you are hiding at all times! Some of them go 35-0. I can sometimes put together a decent kill streak, if I'm  hiding. But these guys run around like Rambo, killing everyone around them! It's bullshit! Ban these cheaters for life. Or at least teach me how to brick their systems! What fun is there in cheating?

black ops 2 is so hacked that genuine gamers get laughed at for sticking in a game where they get pummled by cheats. well done treyarch you have taken a large group of core gamers who have never cheated and turned them into people who refuse to buy anymore of your games. why? because where is the fun and the skill in cheating? this franchise neither cares or is bothered by the huge amount of people annoyed at cheaters and hackers who currently operate on p23. whilst we are on the subject there is no point playing on clan ops nights as they are full of hackers and cheats and also double xp weekends as the same is occuring. maybe ps4 will be better, but somehow i dont think so. so disappointed in what was a brilliant game and concept.
