does anyone have any tips on getting a higher k/d ratio

i want to know how can i get a higher k/d ratio without having to do alot of camping does anyone have any tips?? please answer

    Use LMG's and be defensive (DON'T CAMP) and play Domination with a party of people that want to win. This will boost both your KD and WL, and even level you up quicker using a weapon a lot of people don't use.

      This is me at the moment, other than playing with a party, and it works.

       

      As a solo player I have always been at the mercy of my team mates.  I'm average, certainly not good enough to turn a game around on my own.  My last two matches demonstrate this perfectly...

       

      Both matches on Carrier,

       

      first one, I went 25-7, 4 caps, 7 defends, we lost 170-126

      second one, I went 19-5, 2 caps, 6 defends, we won 200-45

       

      For me right now, the harder you try in this game the worse your results.  For now I will take the easy option, and build confidence with the maps and weapons slowly.  I'm sure others wont like it, but that's just tough I'm afraid.

      I was going to post exactly the same thing. For instance, you can use any LMG with Target Finder + FMJ and hide out in the garage on either side of Nuketown after capping A or C (depending on where you initially spawn). If you cover the opening in the truck with your LMG and place a claymore or shock stick by the entrance(s) to the garage that you're not watching, you can really rack up kills and support your team while they rush and try to cap B. I did this during the double XP weekend and managed to max prestige all 4 LMGs and rack up a ton of kills.

       

      Since I play solo, I don't usually rush B unless our team is playing in some sort of organized fashion. More often than not, though, people I get partied up with play like cowboy retards, so it suits me better to hang back and guard A/C and/or push the enemy further back into the edge of B or into their own spawn. This strategy works wonders at that.

    I say who gives a crap about your kd, focus on you w/l. It really doesnt determine how good you are. I have some games where i go 50-5 and others where im 20-20 but im always trying to win the game. If you play to win its more rewarding.

      I agree, although it's only more rewarding if you win.

       

      A loss can be enjoyable in a strange way if you and your team have given it your all, and only lost by a small amount.

    1: Flank in OBJ modes (Such as dom)

     

    2: Use silenced or even better no weapons (Aka 6 perks and a knife and shocky monkey stick)

     

    3. Dead silence

     

    4. Do not repeat the same set of pathing, Unlike other Cod's you have actually more than 2 options for point of attack on most maps.

     

    That is one option,

     

    The Other is Play a Overwatch position on OBJ maps. Hold down a flag from a vantage point with FMJ Grip and an optic.

     

    People have been chasing red blips Knifing (esp in OBJ modes) can get your kdr up and you can provide benefit for you team by forcing the enemy to watch their back for their OBJ to be taken and defense from flanker knifing numerous people at OBJ B in Dom.

      I'd say the best advise is to move cautiously, and use objects to headglitch in most situations, if you're running around a corner, try to aim before rushing in. My KD is 2.30 and if I were to describe my playstyle, it would be like that.

        Dont teach the kid to play like that. We have enough campers and thats why the kid above me win percentage is 49%. My win loss is only 61% and thats cuz i end up playing with kids like him that dont help cap.
