MW3 servers are good but wont allow me to connect.

I always play MW3 and never had a problem until a couple days ago. Ever since then, I haven't been able to connect to multiplayer at all.
Here's what I do:
I go to the mulitplayer menu.
Click XBOX Live.
Wait, and wait, and wait.
Error message.
So I try again and again, and if I get lucky I get in.
What is going on because all my friends seem to be online and connecting fine but I can't... ![]()

I've been having the same problem. You're not alone.
Been having the same problem. Was able to get in after 2am pst yesterday morning and a couple times during the day, but lots of server and host disconnects. I'm led to believe it's due to server overloading because of the release of Black Ops 2. Most of my friends list was affected too, although, periodically some of them can get in also.
i was having the same problem played a private game all on my own then retried logging on havent had a problem since
i have been having this issue since BO2 came out, the only way i can get on is if one of my friends invite me to a game. it won't connect itself at all. XBL works fine on ALL other games only mw3 is not working.
there is an issue here an it is not on our end. my NAT type is always OPEN so that ain't it.
tried tweeting @ATVIassist and wouldn't you know it, no response.

Seems to have settled down for me somewhat. Still takes a while to log in sometimes and still getting disconnects. Also hard to find games under 100ms. I'm guessing it'll get better once black ops 2 dies down a bit.
Customer support finally got back to me. Turns out that there is a technical issue between the MW3 servers and Telus. They believe it has been resolved, or will be shortly. Not sure if this helps everyone, but hopefully we'll all be able to log in and kill each other with ease again.
i have been waiting 3 days for a response and you settle for that bullsh*t they gave you? a problem with 1 provider doesn't affect half the community. unless they all share that provider, i do not.
Still waiting for a response. Servers still down....
