Elite HQ Player name UNKNOWN

Hi, I've registered to my Elite account and created a new Clan, but my player name is set to "unknown" , and I can't figure out how to change it.

My account seems correctly linked to my PS Network, I can see all my stats and stuff, but I still see that "unknown" in the top right of the screen. Also in the Clan roster I see the only player in the clan (which is me) is "unknown". How to fix that?

PS. I have already tried to unlink and relink my PSN account with no success.

I also have "unknown" as a user name. It's on the clanHQ at the top and when i click it, I am taken to my playerHQ where once again it says my clan name, then "unknown". I'll let you know if I figure it out.... I'm playing Black OPS 2 though. message me on PSN if you get it.

having the exact same problem, not sure whats going on. has anyone found out what to do yet?

All you need to fix this is to go to 'My Account' then 'Profile' and just unlink your account then relink it back again. Activision Support helped me out he was called David B.

Did it today it worked!!!

  Yes, I had the EXACT SAME PROBLEM, and i unlinked my account, then re-linked it, and it was sorted !
  I think i linked my account via my PS3 in the first place, so must be a bug there, so just link it via youre pc instead.

  hey i just unlinked and relinked my network and now when i log in to elite it doesnt sign in to my account. its someother name and i cant figure this out. i have competitions today and NEED HELP

im trying to get online on black ops 2 and it wants my community name? WHAT THE EFF IS IT?!?!?!?! email address? no. psn name? no. this is BS.

I entered my profile and unlinked my PS3 identity and joined in again, and it worked!!

I figured out why mine said unknown, well sort of. I just used Internet Explorer instead of Google Chrome. What browser are you using? good luck.

Mine has never done this but some recruits of mine have this problem. After a few days of them being on the clan it updates to their name.
