Can`t connect to Black ops 2 servers

Just checking to see if anyone else is having this issue where it won`t connect to online mode.. Cheers

    I'm having the same problem. It goes to the load screen for the map and then I get kicked.

      Can´t even connect to online service...

      After i buyed it, now nearly 2 days ago, and played it one time for 10 mins, i disconnected the server cause of connection problems, i restarted the game few mins later and wasnt able to connect to online service anymore..xP

        the same is happening to me and i have compleated the single player its just annoying the fact that you can even play a simple game i cant even get on zombies

    I've been unable to get in for the last 3 hours... Unfortunate that I can't access three quarters of a game I paid 60 dollars for. Way to be, Treyarch.

    Same issue, from what I understand it's accross all platforms so it has to be a server issue.

    Lighten up guys, this game sold copious amounts (aprox 12900000 copies) so far. It's to be expected that something bad happens. I doubt the servers were stress tested for these numbers.

     

    And rest assured it's a top priority to fix their flagship game which has faltered on opening week, to twiddle their thumbs isn't good for promoting BO2. So go watch some TV, play campaign, anything really while they get this mess sorted out (probably in the next 24 hours).

        Hmmm not sure, what version are you on? I have a feeling our game clients might not be updating to the newest patch and for whatever reason that's preventing us from doing 2 things.

         

        1) getting the newest patch (talk about a catch 22)

        2) connecting online in any way, shape or form.

         

        This issue is happening with different platforms, in different continents and with different ISPs.

          So your saying the people falling victim to this error are random? And that Activision/Microsoft are most likley working on fixing the problem as we speak, so I should just be patient?

    If it is what some are saying that the servers are "stressed" don't give me that BS. Activision said it themselves. "MOST ANTICIPATED GAME OF ALL TIME BLAH BLAH BLAH"... They know EXACTLY how many goddamn units will sell, and how many servers they need. This is corporate penny pinching. If servers being stressed is the problem. Get some more goddamn servers out of your million dollar profits.

    Are with with Telus and live in Canada? In the Xbox 360 section we have a thread dedicated to the unavailability of the servers. It seems like everybody who's with Telus is getting a server error.

          I'm not sure when we'll find out, but I'm version 20.0 or something. Vonderhaar tweeted a hotfix 20.135.19 that seems to be fixing a couple of peoples issues, but the majority of us still haven't received the update.

    This is a disgrace to PC gaming.. Graphics suck. Networking blows. hit detections blows.. Community is essentially retarded.... Can't even play the game after getting to lvl 47.. Get booted and can't connect anymore.. ******* FAIL

    Yep, same issue on the PC. Can't connect to online services. Played for half an hour and then it died.

    1. open controll pannel
    2. select windows firewall
    3. click "allow a program or feature through windows firewall"
    4. click the change settings button
    5. go to call of duty black ops 2 and make all of them on home/work (private) and public.(do the same for steam)
    6. make sure you ticked them all. now click ok

    Nice to know im not the only one. It let me play three rounds of Kill Confirmed then just LOOK at the zombie menu and thats it

    This was happening last night to mainly BC Telus customers.

     

    For some reason whenever a Patch is released Telus ISP are being blocked and we are getting a glitch where we get #.0.-1 instead of the true patch last night it was 19.0.-1 and then i got the real 19.xx this morning. Its updated again cause im assuming a new patch has come out and yet again instead of being 20.xx im 20.0.-1 and what do you know same god damn issue.

     

    This is so ******* stupid and its gonna be really annoying if it happens EVERYTIME a patch is released...******* awesome job treyarch ******* love it.

    I was able to play only one time for 10 minutes until i got disconnected, its now 3 days ago.
