Laptop problems fixed! ( instructions here )

Hey,

 

 

 

    •  

    1 : Check ALL your hardware drivers, ( i forgot my intel processor and thats why it dindt work ) i updated the nvidia vid card to the new beta version. And the latest intel update thats what really went wrong! And it will make the loading map and freezing go away!

    • 2 : Set nvidia on standard settings, not on the nvidia high performance ( it doesnt support that at the moment )
      3 : Start the game. Be sure to wait with the globe! It freezes for a moment to load all the lights, it takes around 40 seconds.
      4 : Play. lol.
      5 : Post your results here!

       

 

 

I hope that this works for all of you, i tried this and made the instructions. The loading map is taking around 50 seconds for me now, its far better then the 5-10 minutes before i did this!

 

Good luck all, like i said, post your results so i can look what went wrong if it dindt work.

 

 

My specs :

 

 

Nvidia 610m 2 gb video card ( driver needed to be updated )

Intel i7 quadcore processor ( driver needed to be updated )

6gb ram ( obviously cant, and will not be updated lol )

What does this fix :

 

Loading map screen will be going alot faster!

Globe will not hapen ( wait for around 30-50 seconds it gotta load all the lights )

Reticle on a scope ( reflex agoc ) will show up, if not check your drivers again.

    Thanks, before it starts freezing in about 1-2 seconds
    now i made what u say and it freezes only after 5 seconds *-*   now u have to tell me how to get more than 5 seconds^^

      Where does it exactly freeze ( which moment or on which menu ) can you post your specs to?

        Hey it freezes in multiplayer when its loading. Then after 5 secs it goes black and dont work anymore. then i get a Error: "Intel Graphics accelerator for Windows 7 (R)" stop responding and was restored.

        I have still updated Graphics and everything. I dont know why its freeze.

        i Got:

        Intel core i5-2450M @2,5 GHz

        8 GB RAM

        GeForce GT 630M with 2048 GB VRAM

        i think thats enough for bo2,I hope u can help me.

          Your issue is in the error message

          "Intel Graphics accelerator for Windows 7 (R)" stop responding and was restored."

           

          So it appears that steam/BO2 is using the Intel GPU not your GT 630M.

           

          Disable your on board GPU may help..

           

          My 2 cents anyway...

           

          Might be good advice for anyone who has on board video...

            It shouldn't be an issue with dedicated or integrate graphics. The game runs fine on integrated graphics (intel HD 4000), its not that the game can't be run, the issue is map loading. My intel HD 4000 run the game beautifully, so suggestions about gpus is pointless.  Map loading. Map loading. Loading of maps, is what almost every laptop user, dedicated or integrated, is having issues with.

              I play skyrim and it loads the game in less than a minute. You cannot tell me that's its logical that a multiplayer map in BO2 takes 3 or 4 times longer to load than skyrim, and suggest its MY system that's at fault. It's just ain't f'ing logical.

              I think its something with my graphics but i dont know what it could be. the grapics should be good enough for it and im going to rage      >_<   2 days and i cant play -.-

      Not saying that it will not work..Just using pure logic based off the error message

      So hoped it worked but it did not....nothing to lose to try things.. my opinion anyway

    For some reason i can get in the game *____*

    but it load years and crash while loading options and its flickering a bit.
