Black Ops 2 will not load

I can not get the game to load.  I have uninstalled it twice, cleaned the registry files, rebooted.  My nVidia control panel

has all three modes listed in it. 

 

Black Ops 2 (single player) = black screen

Black Ops 2 (multiplayer & zombies) black screen but with the Black Ops logo in the lower right hand corner.

 

Task manager tells me the game is not responding.

 

I have been forced to run the game thru STEAM and not as a stand alone.

      Between myself and the tech at Origin PC we found that nVidia has a beta driver out thataddresses this issue.  After installing the beta driver, the game loads, whereas beforeSTEAM was causing the crash.  I did re-install STEAM as per their instructions of deletingall but the steamapps and steam.exe and rebooting.  Then starting STEAM from the programlocation not using the icon. Thanks again to Origin Computers for coming thru for me.
