POST ISSUES HERE: ONE THREAD WILL BE NOTICED, 1000 WON'T INDIVIDUALLY [servers, codes, freezes, connection, all]

You're problems will not get attention as their own thread alone as things are.

 

First Problem:

 

 

Error

An error cocurred while trying to find a session, please try again.


OK


This is new from Wednesday 14th at around 10:00 am GMT [05:00 EST], and matchmaking was fine before this.

The Treyarch/Call of Duty, Black Ops II logo flickers in the bottom right as the game appears to be loading the search program.

The message then appears. It occurs everytime.


The Black Ops 2 Status is set at DEFCON 4: online servers enabled.

League Play works.

      I was good last night then this morning couldn't find server. Just got onto server, then a hard freeze occurred while in lobby.

    Also, if people post here, their issues will get read. Once this hits 1000 posts it will get attention.

     

    FOXHOUND, could you make this official, then people are even more likely to post here.

      Just got another hard freeze in a lobby after a game of KC. Didn't freeze at all last night ...

      I support this thread.

       

      Issue: Finding more players to balance teams when lobby is full or even teams can be made

       

      Scenario:  Party of 6 join a Kill confirmed lobby with other 6 players and after the time remaining count down you get the message "finding more players to balance teams"  We waited 4 minutes before trying to find another lobby but this happened for every lobby we joined.

       

      Eventually we found a game but it dropped members from our party (1 member would not be allowed to join. It would throw them in a new lobby).  We never got to play a game with a full party of 6.

        same, basically i now play a game  leave after it in loby and join a new one, it sucks cause i am always on a loosing team and have to work my but off to try and get them to win but atleast i can play.

    I have the exact same problem, takes the piss paying out £60 for nothing 2 be working. This game has been nothing but problems so far. Disappointing!!!!!!

    been trying to to find a match for 3 hours now, same stupid error - -'
    it's not fun looking at my friend list, and see that some of my friends are playing just fine '>_>
    hope this error gets a fix very soon! not tomorrow! NOW hehe

      Anyone know the cause of the freeze in game lobbies ? Saw one thread that some guy saw it happen at GameStop as well before the release.

    Biggest issue I'm having (aside from the 3 freezes, already posted in the other thread) is sitting in a lobby and the game won't start.  Keeps saying waiting for others to join to balance teams - but we have 12 players in the lobby!!  Not a huge issue as I can just switch lobbies, but WTH?

      ps3 60 gb fat model 4 usb ports, ps3 shuts off automatically during gameplay.  every other game i own works fine including black ops 1, time varies but it will shut off after 5 to 10 min of bo2 gameplay.  i play games that are much more stressful on my ps3 like dc universe for hrs with no shut down.  my ps3 has not bricked, it is this game.  theere is a thread already created for this issues with almost 70 replies and almost 5000 views.  this is not an isolated event, this is happening to the owners of the fat model ps3 with the exception of a few slim users.  please update us on this!!

    Im level 44 atm, i could play all night and suddenly around 1 hour ago. I got this problem and some of my friends got it asswel.

    Does any one else have an issue with the character voices in campaign? I can't hear what the characters are saying right before the mission starts, but when the mission does start I can hear them talking.

    Wasn't able to logon to server. Now I can but can't get in any games. ERROR: An error occurred while trying to find a session, please try again.

     

    Fail.

     

    Post an update letting us know you're working on it. I have checked twitter and everything else and haven't seen one update letting us know you're even looking into it. Maybe you are all playing BLOPS2 on some private server and don't have time to help us?

    There are already two official thread for 1) server unavailability  and 2) hard freezes.

    Support this thread, everyone who was logged on at that time got screwed over because of their silly mistakes and servers, it's now unfair because my mates jolly on into the ranks of the leaderboards and gloat and ***** about it.

    I have two issues

     

    1. Campaign in the second mission where you rescue that guy whom gives you that powerful little device yeah in that part until you finish the mission the voices start cracking up into some shitty quality.

     

    2. Both my coin code AND wave 4 email code for the playercard AREN'T WORKING! WTF!? I mean I can understand all the issues in online multiplayer but my ******* DLC really!? -_____-"

    My PS3 locked up (froze) loading a MP game last night and I had to do a hard shutdown.

    Only played campaign so far. Finished the first mission, then Woods talks about his time in Nam, then black screen. It wasn't frozen, the next part just didn't want to load. Waited a minute before calling it a day.

     

    Just wondering though, when is BO2 going to move from beta to final product?

    (PS3) There were a few times my party of 6 would join a lobby that had 6 people in it and it wouldnt go to a game. It kept looking for more players even though the lobby was full.

     

    I had issues when I brought up my friends list and went over to the clan, it didnt show in order of who was online playing BLOPS2. It just showed everyone and I had to scroll through the list. Also while I was scrolling the list would often reset and send me to the top of the list,

    Most issues revolve around three things and feedback is actively being pulled not only from moderator started threads, but others too. Large threads like these simply generate interference. By that I mean that there is no structure offered or advised and they quickly house a large volume of discussion that is ultimately scattered. From a user/gamer persepctive a one stop shop for all feedback would make sense, but right now developers need focused information.

     

    I also can't put my weight/blessing behind this one because someone else already started a thread similar to this and we had to ask them to wait until after launch issues have been sorted. Ultimately, I'm going to let that person have the PS3 community bug thread.
