I know that COD elite is free for BO2.

In MW3, people had to pay for COD elite. Paying for this would entitled you to special things.

In MW3, clans was something new. People could join a clan and level it up to a certain level and earn distinctions. People that were preium members were the only ones that could contribute to the leveling of the clan. People who did not have a prenuim could still be in the clan but they could not contribute to the leveling of the clan.

My question is about clans in BO2.

Since it is free, if i decide to make a clan with my friends, do we contribute to the leveling of our clan?

None of my friends or I had a prnium account on MW3.
