    Hello there,

We're looking into this and are working on resolving it for everyone affected. We know it's frustrating; there's no reason that you shouldn't be able to play a game you just purchased.

Just to make sure we eliminate all possible causes of this on your end, make sure that you restart your console, router and modem. As unlikely as it is that this is an issue with your console, it can't hurt to try this, if you haven't already.

Another item of information that would help us if you know the answer is your location and your ISP.

Thank you for your patience, we will update everyone when we have new info on this issue. ^LM

    Thanks for the update!

Please let us know if you're able to get on, or if you encounter any further problems.

We're looking into this now and appreciate everyone's patience.

    Location - Norway

    ISP - Telenor

    http://www.telenor.no

    System: Xbox 360

I'm also getting thrown out of games with the error message:

"The Call of Duty: Black Ops II server is not available at this time. Please try again later or visit http://www.callofduty.com/blackops2/status for updates."

This is the exact same problem i've been having with Modern Warfare 3 for the past 2 weeks now.

I've reset my router back to factory defaults, as well as setting up my Xbox 360 manually, that didn't fix it. So the fault is most likely with your ISP not routing the internet traffic properly through your network (Just a hunch).

Before you say "But it could be your ISP not ours". Not likely! Thousands of players from different locations around the globe with the same issue and it's our ISP? No. There's no such coincidence.
