Lag Compensation Is Back Again & This Time It Means Business.

Remember mw3 at the start where could walk around a corner getting killed before you saw the other player?  Well Black Ops 2 is exactly how mw3 used to be before they patched lag compensation and made it somewhat bearable.

I live in new york, have a cable connection, 20mb down 2mb up, 0% packet loss, grade A connection according to speedtest.net and pingtest.net.

 

This game for me is unplayable, Ive been ADS and seen a player running at me and ADS and kill me before I could press the fire button, all I had to do was press the right trigger but I didn't have enough time because my connection is too good.

 

Please, please fix the connections on this game before it just turns into mw3 all over again and were waiting 8 months just for the games company to get it right.

    Apart from the 1-bar games I had right after the midnight launch, I can't say I've seen much of this.

     

     

    Also, I have a hard time comparing MW3 and BO2 as a turd is hardly comparable to a game.

    Why didn't you wait to get it. Did you honestly think that the game would work out of the box? Have you learned nothing from the last 3 games. This should be a clue to people, to stop preordering stuff. I don't see them fixing it anytrime soon, other places are reporting major issues.

    Im getting this in every game

     

    I run a 2.0kd in mw3

    in black ops 2 im running a 0.67..

     

    I get zero reaction time even though im ads at the area

    guy runs around the corner runs about 10 feet in his view and just ads and im dead

    someone on a 3 bar runs past me i put 3 bursts of the swat with

    hitmarkers in his back

    rewind time kicks in and the game goes funny

    guy spins around and im brown bread

    so we're basing connection quality on our kdr now?

     

    obviously you've had so much practice in the game already from all those months you played it before release to know every map and gun already and the fact like many people you're rocking a low kdr is due to the connection?

    secondly

    clearly its a new game and things will be different

    but you know a bs death when you see one

     

    so step off your high horse for a second

    and step back and think about your trolling

     

    you did the same when mw3 came out

    and soon changed your tune

    A lot of the games I've hosted have been unplayable.  To the point where the only chance I have of getting the kill is if the enemy is looking in a different direction and has absolutely no idea I'm there.  If someone shows up on my screen and I'm in their line of sight I'm already dead.

     

    Some of the games that have felt the best on my end latency wise were when I had 3 bars.

     

    As far as this subject goes, it feels the same as MW3 at launch to me.  And that is not a good thing.
