ok check this out I received an email from elite

it told me my premium membership was extended for 3 months and i bought it along with mw3 upon release and my founder status is still there i talked 2 support they told me that anyone who had premium b4 march of 2012 got it extended but there isnt a need for premium inless they intend 2 give me bonus so can anyone else think of some reason why?ok since i preordered u get bonuses so far i chose a theme and a player card and used a prestiuge token long ago when u could get it along with the poster for preordering and what bonuses will be avaliable for having that exteded.   Im getting hardened edition if u want 2 know i spend good money on cod last year and this year last thing i want is hackers and modders cheating me out of fun and my MONEY!!!! agreed ok glad we all agree on that.

    Ok.. Lol, but your right. Elite is free now, so whats the point of an additional 3 months?

      another thing is it has expired as far as the sevice goes on the ps3 but everything works as if nothing has happened and its ready for black ops 2 i bought it in november so it ended in november i thought then they made it free so i expect everything 2 be the same maybe im finally gettintg my dues for being loyal and a founder but it is still registered under my services list

    It's free except for MW3. I thought it was free so told my buddy who didn't buy it last year thinking it was for both MW3 and BOPS2 and he said no, he couldn't get on to ELITE for MW3. It's probably a ploy, they extend you a few months, mainly as an apology that ELITE has been out over a year and still not working as promised at launch, then you forget about it and get auto-billed on your PSN account for another year of ELITE service for MW3 that you don't need or want. Best be safe and go into your PSN account settings and turn off the auto-billing for ELITE.
