CONFIRMED: No Nuketown 2025 preorder bonus for Wii U

Thanks to some forum members that have gotten the game early, we can now say for certain that the Wii U does not have a Nuketown 2025 preorder bonus. Also, if you go to the preorder page and select the Wii U option, the text box about the map is gone.

 

Nice going Activision/Nintendo.

 

EDIT: Well, now we've got some forum members saying that the code got emailed to them. The preorder page still doesn't have the logo or text box, though.

 

EDIT 2: Turns out that those codes are for an Amazon offer, not the map. So it's still not going to be in the preorder.

    The preorder bonus has been removed from Activision, Gametop and Amazon. Its obvious Wii U is not getting this map.

    I have two questions about your confirmation on this.

     

    1) Are these people who supposedly have gotten the console and game a trustworthy source? I would like to think that you're not taking some random person's advice, but I'm trying to cover the basics. It's easy to lie and pretend on the internet.

     

    2) How would these people who have the game and console know that there is no Nuketown 2025? It is a pre-order bonus, and these people obviously didn't get the game legitimately so why would they get the bonus? I have no idea how getting the map works, but I'm assuming people who pre-ordered get some sort of code to download the map. Even the players on PS360 who illegitimately have the game do not have Nuketown 2025 so why would the WiiU?

    See my thread about "interesting email from amazon" (I misspelled interesting...was in a hurry)...got all the info I have discovered so far.  I'm not saying we won't get it, I'm just saying there is no insert in the game with a download code for Nuketown EVEN though the activision website and amazon noted it.  They have since taken it down.  And the activision guy was amazed that I had the game in hand...what was I supposed to do?  Tell the UPS man take this back.  I'm not supposed to have it yet...lol
