MW3 elite premium extended till march 2013

Just got this email from cod elite

We are pleased to announce that we're extending your access to Call of Duty® Elite Premium features for Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare® 3 until March 1, 2013. We hope you continue to enjoy the service and all the great features you are used to through your extended access period, and look forward to seeing you online.

A couple things to note:

We will be extending your access between 7:00 AM and 1:00 PM EST on November 8, 2012. You may notice a temporary Call of Duty® Elite service interruption during this time.

Your new extended access will not be visible when viewing your account details through Xbox LIVE or PlayStation Network. Rest assured, your access has been extended.

I was thinking about getting a subscription, but honestly, nothing in regards to Elite seems to work, and seems to have been faulty for a while now. What's the incentive to subscribe?

  Elite is free, Premium is not for sale any more. Only incentive is that its free

    A - No, there will not be a separate Call of Duty® Elite Premium membership offering for Call of Duty®: Black Ops 2. All Call of Duty® Elite services and features for Call of Duty®: Black Ops 2 will be free..
    
    So what exactly did they extend?....and why? Is this just incase i do not purcase bo2?

      I think they have extended it cause all the problems we had with elite for mw3 and also maybe because as a premium member u need that status to count in mw3 clan ops? Not sure about that but we will find out.

      they extended the PREMIUM subscription for MW3 so people can continue to level up their MW3 clan
