PseudoPoll: How often does lag seriously affect your gameplay?

I'm wondering if the lag comp works for most people, but some of us are unlucky.  So my unscientific poll.

Keep it in 10% increments, 0 is not at all, 100 is always.

For me it's about 90% of the time I lag so bad it's not worth trying.

I think the lag affects 100% of games seriously...

In this evolution of COD, games are won and lost on which side of the lag compensation you are on.

Its like roulette or other casino games, if you know how to play your chances are increased but ultimately its down to the cod god and lagvantige.

I'd say there is some sort of lag intervention in EVERY SINGLE GAME I PLAY.

So to answer your question:  100%.

Through the journey of MW3 its went from being about 50-50% to then 80-20% and now just 100%

For me personally about 75-80% of the time lag totally makes my games unplayable. The only times I can even get a decent run going is if I team with my two friends in the Midwest who live 500 miles away from me and somehow that allows me to play well and go positive. If I play on my own I get matched into awful games where the scores are always 7500-3000 depending on which team you get on and with the lag I'll be a hero one game in TDM going 20+ kills with low deaths, then turn around and have 2-3 8 and 16 games in a row.

I'd say lag has a serious effect on my gameplay about 30% of the time. There are occasional lag spikes in almost every game I play (90%) that may costs a death or two, but in all honesty it really doesn't play a huge factor. I'd say 30% of the time I'm thrown into a lobby where the lag is just flat out terrible, and I can't buy a kill.

100% if in a party with friends. 80-90% when playing solo (not a hundred because there are rare occasions i don't get host (=lag) and there are no 2-3bar laggers or splitscreeners in the lobby). The symptomps are the usual bending bullets, instant deaths and me being equipped with a super soaker while lagging a full second behind everyone.

I recently made a second account to see how well i could actually do in this game statswise if i only played smart and as well as i possibly can. This for me means using only AR's and SMG's, playing defensively, patrolling, and the occasional camping (not sitting in a corner though) because i have to avoid CQB-situations like the plague do to well in this game. It's nearly impossible to win the 1v1 situations because of the lag, shoot first and die first.

Anyway, i played mostly solo on TDM on this account through levels 1-55 i think, and held a K/D around 2,4 which to me is good, but the SPM is only around 200 because i have to play extremely causious so that i have the jump on them and actually win gun fights. W/L was barely 1, so yesterday i thought i'd convince some friends to get back on MW3 because id would be nice to win. We did end up winning many matches, but the lagging was horrible. Playing with a party of 5 through levels 55-61 dropped my K/D to 2,07 even if we won most matches because i got a lot of BS lag related deaths and could not win a single gun fight up close. I know stats should not be used to judge the multiplayer experience, and i know i am not that good at the game, but it has to tell you something if you actually end up dying and struggling more when you have friends helping you to win.
