I don't know what's going on but for the past day or so, I've been trying to leave the current clan I am in. I have tried it from both the website and the actual application on the console. It keeps giving me the same message "There was an error communicating with the Call of Duty ELITE service. Returning to the Start screen." on the console. Anyone have any idea how to fix this?
If you are the clan leader you cannot leave the clan, UNLESS you make someone else leader first.
You can pass on leadership to someone else in the clan, or if you are the only one in your clan, you can create a dummy account and pass on the leadership that way. Those are your only two options since there is no way to delete a clan.
I Have the same problem, I try to leave or make someone else a leader and it says that message. I'm trying to join another clan, but it won't work. Please help!!!!
Clan management is simply not working for anyone right now as it proves difficult to provide a bug-free website for Activision. We're also still waiting on feedback from them but since the support site is also full of bugs...
