UMP TDM Solo MOAB Against Clan + Solo tips against clans -video-

Herrow. Briefly, this video demonstrates what I consider to be good tactics  playing solo against a clan in TDM. I moab'd a clan solo and gave a light hearted, yet helpful commentary to aid the video.

Now here are the basic four tips that I believe can help if you ever face a clan in TDM. They may not be the best players, all clans are different. But, you can always count on them communicating, and that can be devastating when playing solo.

1. Play in a manner that is unpredictable. When you move around a lot its harder for a clan to communicate about your position on the map.

2. With that being said its best not to camp against a clan. With a clan you know there is communication so they will let their teammates know your location.

3. Talk to your randoms. Yes normally they may just be noobs with no communication skills but it doesn't hurt to ask. Maybe there is another player like yourself who will communicate back with you for better coordination. (In this case it worked for me)

4.Run Recon. You may not be able to talk to randoms but at least you can help them in game with recon or recon pro. Maybe even run support killstreaks. If your randoms can at least see the enemy on the map because of recon pro, you may have a shot at victory.

Nice gameplay. I normally play tactical and I don't move that fast. I'll try to keep running when playing up against a clan so they can't call-in my position. I'll try to keep that in mind and thanks for the tips.

I am impressed with your presence of mind. You run up the stairs, turned left, jumped and flanked the enemy who was running behind you. I'll try and pull that off and add it on my game.

I hope I will someday play like that. MW3 is my break-out COD and I hope I'll just keep on getting better and better. The only problem is that I'm a very lazy gamer and sometimes, I feel like I spend more time on the forums than on the actual game. XD

By being lazy, I play on and off and sometimes I won't even play for weeks at a time. I get rusty and shaking the rust off has become my challenge.

I would disagree with number 4 (talk to your randoms)

Chances are they're not team players (note I said chances) so their not going to care and their probably Hedonists. I say just prepare for the worst possible out come. Run a small route, don't over extend yourself because you'll likely end up surrounded

Camp then move after a couple kills. Since there's communication the clan will likely take team approach to remove a camper. This means they're going to move in large groups. If you kill one and then move to a flank you can blind side half their team for a nice kill feed

    Essentially, use Gorilla Warfare

i have to admit.. i muted the vid. LOL. but great gameplay. my girl watches me play and is always asking "how did you know to do that?". i try to explain you learn the maps and standard routes.. but it's hard to explain. you just "know". i also use a headset so can hear everyone around me and know where they are. between that and checking the map for my team's location (to predict enemy spawns) and a red dot here and there (i only play hardcore; which is my reason for neve using recon) i seem to do pretty well. i rush as well. it's so much fun.

anyway. good stuff man. two thumbs up.

true about rushing in HC. but you learn it, i guess. to be honest, my killstreaks are non-impressive. i've gotten my specialist bonus quite often. but to be honest i don't usually get more than 8 kills before i die. LOL. i usually kill about twice as many times as i die and, for some reason, i seem to have the fewest deaths of the lobby while having one of the top 3-5 amount of kills. it's really weird. i find HC actually easier than core only because i end up on the wrong side of lagg and playing HC is the ONLY way i can get kills. LOL

i die a lot too.. but it's worth it. maybe i try core a bit more often.

in fact.. i just checked: i'm ranked..like.. 22k on the leaderboard for KC. haha.

"i don't play much.. but when i do, i play TDM KC". haha

oh.. and i have never ever ever ever come anywhere close to getting a MOAB. LOL. i think my highest streak is 13.
