As I do not have ego's talent for an Epilogue I will let the community start ![]()
PS: We are looking for parallel's between "What is a noob" and "What is a scrub" and how different and/or similar they may be, thank you.
But really, what the community terms a SCRUB?

For me and I know I bang on about it but the only people i'd put in the noob section are the people who ignore the objective just to pad kills I personally don't care if you're ADSd at a door frame the entire match and only get 2 kill and 0 deaths with 2 tags at least they added something not much but a scrub will only ever drain from a team when they don't play the objective in some fashion whether defesive or aggressive.
Hi Ban,
Thanks for the post.
What is a noob? To me a Noob is someone who uses the underbarrel grenade attachments, but to others its the person who plays the game poorly.
What is a scrub? Scrub is a lower level player than the noob, probably someone who purposely plays poorly, inflicts more damage on the team, does not care what so ever about any outcome.
I would like to thank Ego for such a great thread too, got me my 4,000 post ![]()

Well, now I am just thoroughly confused.....
What the hell is going on here?!?!?@!?!!#@!$#%%$^%&*&
I have no idea, my very first Thread just failed miserably.... I think ![]()
Ok....but why post for ego? That is where my confusion lies.
Oh and back to your og question. To me a scrub is a veteran player that uses newb tactics. A newb uses tactics that best lead to a kill and not death when first starting the game, learning maps, and how perks effect the game.
A scrub has played for more than 5 days, still running with the undermount launcher and RPG/SMAW combo. First shot they will shoot will be from a launcher. When they die, the first gun they pull out is a launcher. They have no skill when using "real" bullets, so the resort to using cheap tactics in order to get their kills. ie. playing ANY mode in HC and using launchers exclusively. SCRUB.
hahahaha funny stuff rid... im getting confused as well.

I was trying to alleviate the burden you must carry lzjar trying to think "Of a new Today's Question"
God dammit !!! I'm a girl I don't have to make sense ![]()
Scrubs are cheats, boosters, and the lowest of the low!
Warning: I do have a wall of text I will post within the next 24 hours that will make this thread extremley engaging ![]()

Awww thanks Ban... much appreciated.

Hahaha, I like that one....
Yes, Scrubs are the lowest form of COD player, the all willing loser of a team!
I'm surprised that you've never made a thread before yet you have 800+ posts. You deserve a medal or something for that
Now I am understanding. With 800+ posts, I too give you the "Medal of Honor" for holding back. The only reason I started an account was to post a thread about Zombie lag.
I would vote SCRUB if the player runs aroud the entire game with their RPG out or the SMAW.
Or maybe thats just a Douchebag.
lol
I agree with izjar11.
I dont mind confessing that I can be a noob, a scrub and a beast at various times. It all depends on my mood, the way the game is playing i.e. lag, and also whether I am trying to complete challenges or just playing the game. I'm sure a lot of players fall into the same category.
My opinion (which means nothing)
noob: someone who has no idea how to play so they do badly (also new to using perks or different weapons).. example, I used to be a PM9 noob.
scrub: someone who never learns (or refuses to learn) how to get better and continues to do badly (great to have them on the other team). example someone who runs to the same spot to camp and gets killed for trying to get to the same spot
douchebag: someone who deliberately plays like an idiot, causing damage to the team (like someone who spins around in a circle in TDM, runs away from objectives, blocks you in corners, teamkills - before ricochet, destroys friendly equipment in HC, etc...
again, it is just my opinion which is just as wrong as anyone else's. But I like to make clear distinctions as to not cause confusing (like someone calling me a noob makes no sense, as I am not new... but one can act like a noob ... i.e. one should know better.
I actually really like these seperations. Your opinion means a lot to me RLBL, good points

How can you say that rlbl, your opinion holds well with me too?
I hold you in great regard as does the COD Community, you dummy ![]()
{Or do you just want some more naughty photo's
}
RL, what I miss is the thoroughness of your posts. You are very well spoken and I definitely listen whenever you speak. So yes, your opinion does matter to some!! But I guess we really have to wait for BOPS2 to come out before we get you back.
I think a douche is more attitude base id say majority of clans and or parties are more likely to be douches, and a scrub is more like a fmg9 akimbo player, or a noob tuber
a noob is a cloud shooter or a circle spinner
G, Ban... thank you.
but like I always say:
1 - Opinions are like the human appendix - everyone has one; nobody is really sure what it does; they usually (and eventually) cause problems and therefore should be removed.
- RLBL (but taken from the "everyone has a belly button" saying... so really a paraphrase)
2 - If one's self proclaimed and uneducated opinion turns out to be the truth, it was merely a coincidence.
- RLBL, but I am sure I heard something like this before
3 - If someone can convince a million people that something wrong is the truth... it is still false. Two wrongs do not make a right and there is no such thing as validity by consensus.
- Author unknown, by paraphrased by C. Combden
Therefore, my opinion is no more wrong (or right) than anyone else's, in principal... but I do try to think before I speak (most of the time)
.... Naughty photos!?
urrmmmm.... yes, what you say may have truth running through it.
But! You know, why I respect you and hold you in high regard. To remind you without being public: It is to do with you the man and hardships you have overcome and to what a lot of people take for granted every single day of there lives. I don't feel I need to say more.
So just accept it and no more diatrabe ![]()
*blush*
ok... thank you.
