I agree with you. The problem is they should have waited to the very end (2-3 weeks before BO2) take the website down, make it right with no problems or glitches. Instead our clan operations and challenges were delayed and no word out when PS3 operations will be back.

Basically, they should have taken the time to do it right.

Yup i agree with you on things becoming stale good point BUT Facebook make changes and the site still works Elite makes changes and disaster strikes slow none responsive site, challenges removed and now no clan ops , well unless you have an xbox. And here's the big one i don't pay one penny for Facebook and yet the one thing i do buy into doesn't work. Hmmmmm As for a good stratergy time will tell as they have time to win me back round until my 12 months is up but right now i won't be renewing my elite.

I guess they don't care about us since they are stopping the sale of the Elite membership and closing it down for mw3.

There is a difference between "updating" a website and completely ruining it. You're analogy with Facebook is fallacious and invalid--Facebook does in fact add new features and generally tries to improve how you navigate the site while making things more convenient (with the news feed showing relevant posts first). This Elite "update" did not add any new features, it did not make the site easier to move through (some things have even been completely removed such as the Showcase, which the only way to get to it now is to click on a recently won badge). The old Elite site was better in every way. Those in the IT industry like to call a site like this... FUBAR.
