So....

 

So far perkins has said he will get it on launch....

Well that's about it. I'm 50-50 on getting the Wii U w/Bo2 at launch....I want the game but at the same time I don't want to make the same mistake I made last year, buying MW3 at launch and seeing how crap it was.

      It was mostly there due to the fact that Beastblood called it the "r*pe squad* all the time.

    Well, I will be away when the WiiU, and consequently BO2, comes out due to Thanksgiving Break at my college, so I won't be able to, maybe after a week or two though.

      Im buying it now that its confirmed, problem is, UK get it 12 days after the US, also funds are a problem, what with 3kids and it being just before xmas! I`ll get a xmas bonus at work, plus xmas tips from my customers, and that might just about be enough for the console, so i`ll just need to find the cash for the game! Its over a weeks wage for me, the console and the game, so I cant just buy it straight away.

       

      It may well be a blessing in dusguise though, as it will have bugs/glitches, thats a given! Waiting a month for it to bed in may be a good thing. Im stoked were getting it though as im wiimote through and through

    I think I will get it at Christmas. Gives the game and console time to fix any early problems, and maybe the price will slightly go down :)

      I've been thinking about it and it makes sense. Not only does it give me more time to save up some extra money for some other games ( i never got past the first 30 minutes or so of arkham asylum for PC so i'll obviously look into getting it for the wii u, even if it is a port, its still a pretty awesome game), but it makes the hype go down a bit and probably the prices will drop.

       

      Or maybe just get it black friday and try to beat the crowd, get that Wii U for $10....a month for the next 2 years

    Preordered the Wii U already.  Black Ops 2 on launch day though...I don't know.  I have never bought a COD game at launch because they always have something wrong with them. I normally wait about a month.  Or I may buy the game a little sooner than that, but only play the campaign until the first real patch comes out.  Which usually takes about a month.

     

    Of course if Wii U gets the normal HD treatment then the game will get patched much faster.  If that's the case then I may want to by it sooner.  I'll have to think about that one.

    doesnt wiiU come out in december? you will have a month to fegure out if it sucks before getting it.

      No, it's coming out on November 18 (though some countries are getting it later)

        European release is November 30 I think.

            Figure I just take a month or at least a few weeks for all the bugs to be straightned out. I wonder if there will be any special offers for black friday. I have never camped for anything in my life, so I guess I better get ghost pro and second chance and find a spot at the local best buy .

             

            I'm going to be extremely jelly when the Wii U comes out and I see people playing BO 2 on it.....But after MW3, which left an extremely sour taste in my mouth, I dare not ever buy a game or console at launch again.

                    look at furoms and original posts first. this is the only one im preordering because this is the only one that looked good out of the most recent 3. MW3 didnt look to great, it wasnt. BO looked okay but also not as great, was also right. but they still did better than MW3 and that still holds true.

    Getting it launch. I actually enjoyed MW3, and I know I can enjoy this one. It looks like the best parts of Black Ops and MW3 in one game, with its own originality too it. Definitely a launch buy, since I'll end up buying it anyways even if it's bad, just like BF3.

    I would be part of the launch day squad, but the 32GB is sold out online and I do not want the 8GB. Unless 32GB consoles get added for release, I'll have to catch y'all on the flip side.

      Same here. I can guess that during the first 2 weeks or so, the wii u 32gb will be nowhere to be found. I expect there to a new shipment for Black Friday in the US. If there is, and there's a great offer and maybe even a price drop, you can tell I will be camping my as* outside of best buy, ghost pro on and everything. I don't celebrate thanksgiving because I'm not american or canadian,so huzzah, i'll be there the morning before.

            The part about the wife was funny and something I never thought of.  That is so happening now.  Maybe I'll get it on launch day.  Even if I did I wouldn't be playing online that night though.  I have to work.  I may hop on combat training though and start tweaking the controls.  Would be nice to be able to take the gamepad with me to the bathroom though!  Instead of having to stop playing or rushing in between matches.  I'll have to pull the gamepad out at dinner at least once just to see what the old lady thinks about that.
