black ops 2 hardened edition & care package edition

just seen the 2 special editions of the game and i must say i'm disappointed.

 

why do none of them come with....

 

1 year elite 2.0

and all future dlc that you get early.

 

found some prices on youtube that said..

care package edition is going to cost $120 about £75

hardened edition $80 about £50

 

it's not so bad if you get the extra stuff in the hardened edition for £5 more than the standard edition.

 

but i thought they was going to make an elite edition of the game that came with all the stuff that the hardened edition has + elite 2.0 and you got all future dlc aswell as getting the maps early on what ever system you play on.

 

does anyone have anymore info on this ?

    I'm not annoyed by neither special editions not having Elite. If you bought either of the two Black Ops' special editions you wouldn't get all of the DLC for free. The price is adjusted for the lack of Elite for the hardened anyway.

     

    I'm currently paying £20 extra for some bonus maps, nice packaging, a steelbook case, a soundtrack, a PS3 theme and some extra in-game customization, which I don't mind one bit - it's worth it to me. If Elite came with it, it wouldn't be £60, it'd be closer to £90 or £100, so either way, not fussed at all. It's an even better idea in some cases because some people might want what the special editions have to offer, but not want an Elite subscription for a year.

      i would like to pay up front for the game maps and elite 2.0 so i don't have to worry about finding the money every month.

       

      now i've just looked on the net and now they say...

       

      care package edition is $179

       

      what doesn't seem worth it without all future dlc & elite 2.0

        @Mindrockedout I understand the feedback. It won't make sense to you until we start talking about Elite. I've asked when that will be

    could i possibly be that the coins have the elite code on them for u and thats where the cod elite comes from just trying to think out loud and ik the Vahn knows wat hes doing and that he wont let us down i hope elite is in the care package cause its $179.99 and i cant afford elite after that

      It is not the codes on the coins, the codes on the coins only unlock you the nuketown 2025 mp map and the other coin has the unlock code for the nuketown 2025 zombie map.

       

      The hardened edition is priced at £65 thats £20-£25 more than the standard edition.

      I don't see anything in the hardened edition that should make the price jump £25.

    They may not be doing it like that since it was a total failure. Plus they lost money.

      I am interested to read more about how well Elite and DLC perfomed globally during the MW3 season.

       

      Do you have a link to an article or similar that discusses that at all?

    This^

    the fact that 1 year of Elite 2.0 is not included is complete garbage. This is a huge turn off for BOII.

      There will probably be some kind of sub. They got hit and as farbas I know are still dealing with the backlash up in Can over Elite FAIL.

        no elite included is complete BS and makes the CEs useless to me. But then again I am not even getting the game if local matchmaking is not confirmed before release. Sick to death with hosting and being punished for having good internet
