Your Favorite Pistol

Just recently, I have been using pistols in every match I am in. I dont normally use pistols, but I have gotten very bored of working on normal primary weapons and decided to do something I am not used to. I, for the past 2 days now have been using nothing but pistols. I dont have the Deagle yet and quite frankly I am not too keen on using it because I think it may be just like the .44 Mag (which I used today and thought it was horrible compared to how it was in MW2).

 

Out of the 5 pistols I have used so far, I have to say that I like the Five-Seven and MP412 the most. Even though I have used most of the attachments for these weapons, I have to say that Akimbo works better with these 2 pistols. That is of course my own personal view because I thought Akimbo is horrible with the other ones (save the USP, but even then the USP is better by itself or with extended mags).

 

What are your thoughts on these secondaries?

    Pistols aren't really effective in my hands because I don't have a fast trigger finger, but I still find running around with a .44 Magnum a lot of fun. lol

    All Magnum, all the time. I'm not as effective with it as I was the Python in Black Ops, but still enjoy using it.

    Easily the Five-seveN. Can't beat the magazine size and fairly low recoil.

     

    In order of pistols I most like using (not necessarily best to worse)

     

    Five-seveN>P99>Magnum>Deagle>USP .45> MP412

     

    Like I said just my opinion.

    USP .45 is my personal favorite - closing in on 2000 kills with it - followed by both the P99 and Five-Seven.

    I just wish you could equip. 'em with an RDS, and slap either gold or platinum finishes on 'em when you get to 2500 kills.

      Couldn't agree more. There need to be gold finishes etc. for pistols. Also, this is kind of really out of place but in my opinion all handguns should automatically be suppressed allowing you to use emags, tacknife, or akimbo with suppressors, with the exception of the high calibers, which should have the reload time decreased (revolvers) and recoil decreased (desert eagle) accordingly. Just an idea I had to balance them.

        but why have them automatically supressed? i have to say that any time i used a silencer on the USP or P99 it took me more shots to kill the oppoent at the same range than it did without the silencer.

         

        i am actually in favor of reducing the recoil on the Deagle. that is one of the things they should have looked at even in MW.

         

        i used to love using the .44 in MW2. that gun was perfectly balanced in that game. but in this game, it looks and feels slower than it used to.

          I mean maybe suppress them but have them still have the regular range. They're horribly unbalanced with machine pistols as it is. Another idea I had was to lower the draw times of pistols, raise the draw times of machine pistols, remove the sprint boost from the MP9 and Skorpion, and give it to all pistols.

    i prefer the mp412 and the magnum with akimbo knife i can fire them off fast enough to not need the extra fire power, but atm i have Deagles on half of my classes because i like them, looks pretty bad ass and are next to the ultimate gtfo my face gun besides shotguns of course.

     

    was a ***** getting them though.

    My favorite is by far the .44 Magnum. Or as my friends refer to it, "The Swagnum."

    Second is probably the USP .45

     

    Third is the Deagle. Nothin louder haha

    I didn't read everyone elses post, but ALL the pistols seem aweoms in their own way. The USP, Five Seven and P99 are all very simliar just different skins. The .44 is a great piece once you learn it.

     

    Now the DEagle! This is handsdown my favorite handgun. Once you master this it's so much fun its retarded. Not to mention listening to kids rage when they die by it...Priceless.

    For core I am a huge fan of the revolvers (MP and the .44).

     

    For HC it's the eagle all the way. Great natural point, great sights and just looks beastly. It also makes you try harder as you will get a max of 2 shots because of the recoil instead of spamming the trigger on the other weapons.

    The .44 Mag is fun to use and is deadly. The Five Seven is my second favorite because of the larger clip.
