I would appreciate it of someone who has played the campaign on mw3 wii to tell me what the worse campaign missions are for strong language(like F*** or s**t) I have younger siblings who I need to be careful around. I only bought the game today well yesterday considering its almost 5:00 am :)
Anyways I played the first three missions and only heard "Damn" and "Ass". By the way at the start of campaign I choice yes it does offend me(or something like that). Does that option Disable Strong Language or what? Gore?
I'm new and wanted this game for awhile so I would appreciate some answers. (I haven't went online yet because I haven't bought a zapper yet)...
Using the Yes it offends me option was a good idea. It will tone it down but since I haven't played on that option I don't know for sure if you have anything more to worry about. I know on the standard play there are quite a few F bombs. I don't think that there was anything in it that I'd classify as gore particularly. Lot of people dieing for sure and the end of the last mission would probably be the most disturbing part. Hopefully, someone whose been through the Campaign on the "it offends me" setting can be more helpful. In the meantime, welcome to the game.
I don't think there are any f bombs on the "it doesn't offend me" option, or at least I haven't been paying enough attention to the things the characters are saying to hear any. Most of the time the cuss words are kind of in the backround and you have a hard time making them out, but especially on the first mission there are a couple that are easily heard. The last mission would definately be the worst part of the whole thing.
Im surprised cod on wii is still making sales.
Well all the mission have cuss words in them for the most part i would play with the sound low since you have kids just make sure your kids arent around abd if they are keep the sound off or play with headphones
well i choice no,but if you dont want your little siblings to hear it it okay for you and other thing hearing what you said NEVER EVER BUY BLACK OPS for the sake of your brothers
Or World at War, for that matter. You hear the F-word about...10 seconds into the campaign?
i never played it but wow it broke BO recod XD
Couldn't hear the F bombs in WAW over the thousands of grenades the enemy threw at me.
The memories...I couldn't even get to the first checkpoint on Breaking Point and Downfall when I first played the campaign on Veteran. And who can forget running to a piece of cover only to have a grenade waiting there for you?
Once you beat WaW's campaign on Veteran, EVERY FPS seems easy.
A little word of advice. Stick with the wii mote and nunchuck. DO NOT BUY A ZAPPER. Its a piece of plastic. Worthless and stupid. A nintendo gimmick to up their sales.
Also, if strong language is of concern,i strongly suggest turning off voice chat in multiplayer. What's worst than a voice actor dropping the f bomb? A 12 year old child dropping the f bomb and saying he has slept with your mother while squeaking many other sexual things his 12 year old mind should not know about.
Tell me about it.
Oh I just remembered if you do play with the chat on, it will say which player is talking and you can mute the individual player. It helps a ton.
Make sure you turn off the subtitles when you play. Also headphones would be nice so your siblings don't hear what is going on. My friend got MW3 on Ps3, and his parents are really strict with him playing M games. He just turned 18, and he's only allowed to play the Multiplayer and Spec Ops because of the violence and language that the Campaign has. I bet that Call of Duty would be rated T if they took out the campaign...More kids would probably play lol.
i think thats mad dunno why XD!!
I am not sure if it would be rated at all...Activision is pretty clear that online content isn't rated. ![]()
Ok thanks... And about online, I play another game(Socom) and ive heard the little kid language lol. I will turn off voice unless I get headset.
P.s. can I make clans online and inv people ?
There's no elite on wii, so no official clans, only un-official clans.
There may be a 'fu*k" or a "sh*t" in the game but I don't remember them going all House of the Dead:Overkill or anything. And it'll ask you before some missions where it is a but gory if you want to tone it down. There's nothing to worry about.
Just don't play online with turning the mic off, so many 12 year olds dropping F-Bombs left and right.

I think that's what you meant ![]()
Oops, I was speed typing and I didn't proof read.
That's why I suck in English ![]()
I dunno...there isn't really tons of F-bombs in MW campaigns..Black Ops destroyed Europe with the amount of F-bombs f**kin dropped. Treyarch doesnt censor their games- they're all out with the language. You dont have to worry about language in MW3. As for gore...well, there's none. But there is people dying pretty disturbing deaths, if thats bad enough.
IW is pretty clean with their language and gore. But to be honest, if i was trying to kill a big name terrorist on the top of a hotel- in which this terrorist is responsible for the lost of COUNTLESS lives -including my best friend- i'd cuss like mad.
i hate Makarov

Treyarch's entries tend to be more darker than IW's. Maybe the different settings have something to do with that.
